It is a once a month event, that you create a new character and play with him for an allotted amount of time. The goal is to win the most battles, have the highest net worth, or have the biggest power rating. These things will be calculated together and the person with the largest number from our calculations will win the tournament and claim the cash prize.

How Do I get Involved

If you would like to participate in the tournament please post below. New User Bonuses are not allowed, if you cannot create a character without one chat mail me and I'll send him to you. Once you post please send 50k to the character CB Tournys this covers other players transfer fees of minions and also it is included in the pot which goes to the winner. -If you retire your character before the end of the tournament, you will not be eligible for the prize.
-On the last day of tournament,you may only attack tournament characters, anyone that attacks a non-tourney char will not be elligble for the prize. I strongly recommend you make good use of the favorite opponents feature to insure you don't mess up. If you're not a supporter, you can do a makeshift favorites list by keeping each target in a new browser window or tab.

-The winner is the char with the highest score, unless the char with the 2nd highest score can consistently win against the highest score on the last day of the tournament. There must be at least ten battles between the two for this rule to take affect. (consistently win = 75% of battles are won, draws and stalemates count as losses. All battles between the two, regardless of which was the challenger. Battles in which one of the chars were weakened beforehand do not count)

However, do note there will be a BA limit of 2500

store visits will not count towards this limit, HOWEVER...
you may not sell any items camped with your tourny char to any player by any means, doing so will disqualify you from the prize. Going over the BA lmit will disqualify you! (I may be lenient on this because there is no way to limit BA used like on the Cb1 tournys, however if you are over 100 fights over the BA limit there shalt be no mercy! ;-)

This may be an obvious question, but is tha 2500 BA total over the 2 weeks?

Yes, the 2500 BA limit is for the entire tourny. If all the participants use up all 2500 BA though, the tourny will end earler than 2 weeks.

Pardon my ignorance, but how are you going to know when people have used exactly 2500 BA?

2500 in two weeks is not much BA at all.

I use roughly 1,500 BA a day.

Tezmac--when inspecting a character, you can see how many battles they have challenged.

MrWuss, I am aware that the BA cap might be a little low, this is just an "experiment tourny" depending on how it ends up, I may raise the cap.

I've paid my money - but not on your latest list - and how do I join the tournament and get my 2500 BA ?

Freed, you are already in the tournament, the 2500 BA comes from your regular BA.

You were already in tourny, unfortunately I've been having utter computer trouble and might not be there for the beginning of the tourny. So, Slayer is now the man in charge I'll probably be back tomorrows if I get this fixed.

Since I have never played a tournament before I asked the question last night about BA. I asked whether I needed to use standard BA and was answered no - that was the only way I would enter a tournament - if I didnt use my cp.

I now find that I need to use my own BA - which is no good for me. So ...

Next time it should be made clear for a tourny Newb like me (and for the people responding to my question).

This is not a flame just a statement. You can keep the 25K for prizes or whatever.

I was planning on waiting till the last few days and using my BA. Also switchng strat and stuff.

Regrettably, we settled for 2 days. It technically ends tomorrow at 12:00 pm. Everyone who signed up for this tourny now only needs 10k to pay for entering the next one. This is just a test one, there is a prize but we have now fixed almost everything for the next one only 10k. Good luck to all thosae who have played in this one.

Actually since it is our fault for not having this one organized or as fun as a regular one, that starts next Monday. All who joined now have free enterance to the next one that's right <b>FREE!</b>

That's makes no sense, this is making the tournament pointless since it was not gone thorugh all the way, I had set out a small plan in how i would run the tourney and i also spent some cash on BA for non-succesfull camping, now that it isnt possible for me to use my full 2500 BA there is no point to proceed, since i cant be on 24/7. Im sure this messed up alot of people and i KNOW i would have had a running chance to win this thing, even with my 3 minion team against a 4.

I just would like to say that this is the all time worst run tournament I have ever seen and I would like to discourage all users to not participate in the next one. I don't want the CB2 tournaments to be run by these bozos. Lets get some staff that's a little more reliable.

All I wanted was adherence to to rules as originally stated. To change them so drastically after 1 day is absolutely ridiculous. I'm gladly still in if ya'll stick to those rules, and I'll send my fee back.
There is no way, however, that I'm going to participate if the rules are going to change after it's started, with little or no warning, just because 1 player doesn't like them. That's not whining, it's common sense.

Barzoo, being the first tourny ever there is of course trial and error. We realized the BA:Time retion was too lare we lowered the time. This is all experimentation and we need to have cooperation is we are to make a successful tourny. I'm currently in the middle of a move working from the library computer, please I know this is disorganized but please do not flame me cause the people buying the house wanted us out in 10 days. I'm trying to fix the errors, your fun in secondary in this (pre) tourny, no one was Whining just pointing out something that was viable to do. Look for more tournies after I move,

Nexium, I completely understand, and intend to participate. Your explanation is appreciated, but realize that this is the first real explanation of what's going on up to this point. Prior to this, I was just voicing a concern, with no intention to "flame", and I regret if you interpreted it as such. And my whining comment was directed at Hex's post, anyway.
