Fill in the blanks with the correct numbers and I'll send you 50k. Others
feel free to boost the pot :)
- Your entry must be made using a table as above, i.e. exact same
format (3x3 table with each cell including it's own 3x3)
- Don't bother with google this table has been generated randomly.
- No admin or sub-admin entries. HTML skills are part of the contest
and I don't want anyone crying foul because an admin can simply enter my
post and copy the HTML I've used.
- No hints. Don't CM me.
- Contest open until someone completes the puzzle.

LOL other smart people could look at the source code of your post :P
I know this kind of puzzles and they are tough to crack. Care to send me a link to where you found it?

Phaete, I'm sorry but the HTML was part of the contest and yours got messed up for some reason. That happens when c&p'ing from an editor sometimes :/
Well done to Wonderpuff for completing it as well.
For those that don't think it's "easy", spare a though for my 8yr old daughter who came home with one of those (albeit a little less complicated) as part of her math homework last night.

What I meant was the puzzle itself is not easy. but it's easy to get a solver on the net.

I have a program that generates these. Honestly though, the whole no admin or sub-admin rule didn't make sense. Doesn't matter I guess since it was all over by the time a woke.
aww I missed it, if I was half-decent at HTML I would have had this done within 15 minutes of seeing this thread ;P
I do Sudoku (not suduko as Stephen thinks it is) religiously and within the past month have completed well over a thousand of these and quite a few of the more difficult ones where you don't even get numbers in every 3x3 square and even where there are numbers there are no more than 2 or 3.
Good contest G and hope your daughter gets many more of these, very helpful for general logic of looking at a problem and figuring it out :D

I dont get it, whats the pattern?

The game is made of a 3x3 grid and in each cell there is another 3x3 grid, but this you may have already noticed. The game starts with a few of the numbers chosen for you already.
The objective is to fill in each inner 3x3 grid with the number 1 through 9. You cannot use a number twice in the same inner 3x3 grid. Sounds easy right, but there is more. You are also not allowed to to have the same number vertically or horizontally across all grids. The end result is that any column or row will also end up with all the numbers from 1 through 9 without any repeats. I hope that was understandable.
