bidding on his own thing? :|

AdminJonathan August 25 2005 6:21 PM EDT

We are waiting to see if TRK has anything to say for himself, but he's probably reset bait

[corrected]TheRealKiller August 26 2005 12:22 AM EDT

that is my bro's acc but he almost never have time to play so he sometimes help me out if i did something dumb like i did now and if you dont believe i have a bro, then i can post a pic of him if you want

Special J August 26 2005 12:27 AM EDT

this is a very naughty thing you have done...

accounts have same name....hmmm

I have 2 sisters, 2 brothers a handful of friends (when I make my payments on time), I can post pictures of them and say they own the extra accounts.

Relic August 26 2005 12:30 AM EDT

You broke the rules and whether it was stupid or not, and whether you have a brother or not is beside the point. Being a member since January 2 should have been plenty of time to learn about same ip transfers between different accounts.

Special J August 26 2005 12:35 AM EDT

Let me bring up another interesting tidbit,

You state your 'bro' sometimes helps you out,

yet you are the one sending the money to 'him'

you dirty liar ;/

Relic August 26 2005 12:39 AM EDT

One thing I would like to add....Your "bro" was very creative in his account name choice. Did you give "him" any ideas?

Maelstrom August 26 2005 12:43 AM EDT

"he sometimes help me out if i did something dumb like i did now"

What dumb thing was that? Sending him money? How's he going help you out of that?

bartjan August 26 2005 1:15 AM EDT

Results 1 - 20 of about 3,330 for "me and my brother".

That's Google Images...

Derek August 26 2005 1:23 AM EDT

So could we have the fake bid removed from that particular Auction? I see that person got reset so shouldn't any bids they have be removed as well? I'd really like to bid on that CoI but don't want to at 1.66mil

LumpBot August 26 2005 1:33 AM EDT

Derek as of right now, no action has been taken. No one has been reset...yet

TrueDevil [AAA] August 26 2005 2:40 AM EDT

Looks like a multi to me, if you're brother were helping you, he would have the money himself and keep the CoI to himself, not you sending the money to him, him bidding your stuff, and in the end probably he will send the CoI back to you.

AdminJonathan August 26 2005 1:48 PM EDT

I find TRK's explanation rather less than convincing, especially given what GB pointed out to me privately.

Banned the "bro's" account and reset TRK.

AdminJonathan August 27 2005 10:14 AM EDT

...banned, for cursing at me.

Nixon Jibfest August 27 2005 10:25 AM EDT

Is cursing at Jonathan against the rules now??? What's next?

smallpau1 - Go Blues [Lower My Fees] August 27 2005 10:28 AM EDT

It never was *for* the rules....lol

CoolWater August 27 2005 10:30 AM EDT

Now I don't feel good for causing all this.

AdminShade August 27 2005 11:23 AM EDT

cursing at Jonathan is against the rules after you just have been penalized for something you knew you did wrong...

Nixon Jibfest August 27 2005 11:25 AM EDT

shade, does that mean we can curse at Jonathan all we want beforehand? :)

/me doesn't dare...

Dolphin August 28 2005 5:30 PM EDT

I was out all the weekend...

I can not believe that TheRealKiller is reseted. I log in on Sunday and... I see the bad new :-(, I still can not believe it...

I think he wasn't cheating but he did something suspect and he can not explain it satisfactorily, and probably he hadn't enough patient to explain it appeased and polite.

He talked to me about of his brother a long time ago, so this part of the history is true.

I'm very sorry, he was a very good clan fighter, he was 4th at Clan MVPs: 1 year and Hell Blenders is going to miss him

[Banned]Monty August 28 2005 5:58 PM EDT

cursing at anyine is against the rules....unless they changed?

Special J August 28 2005 5:58 PM EDT

He broke the rules, using more than one account.

It is well know that two accounts sharing an IP is fine, but when transfers between those accounts are flagged, then we have to act.

bartjan September 3 2005 9:25 AM EDT

Returned as 'who knows that'.

Dolphin September 3 2005 6:31 PM EDT

I wonder if it's not enough punishment losing all his chars and items... Lose one of the top 20 more PR char, lose the supported items he bought, lose his name Tattoo... be accused of multi in one suspicious action... and now he can NEVER come back to CB2. It doesn't matter his past.

I'm sad. I suppose the rules are the same for all but I think his punishment is too hard.

Thanks to all :-(

bartjan September 3 2005 7:21 PM EDT

When you sign up for an account on CB2, you are asked to agree with basically just 2 rules.
* Keep it PG.
* 1 account, 1 person.

He happened to break both (=all) these rules.
What would you expect in real life, when someone breaks all rules?

Sukotto [lookingglas] September 3 2005 10:09 PM EDT

"What would you expect in real life, when someone breaks all rules?"

They become a superstar celebrity, and/or a death row inmate. :-D
We don't want any celebrities, and we don't bother with death row... we just kill them and get on with our lives.
