Since you can't use it with a tattoo, it doesn't mess up the massive ToA strength bonus. Gives a non-ToA tank a chance - TSA, BoM, HoE, EB, EG, EC.

Because it was so easy to upgrade, there wasn't really a way to make it work with the Dex/Str + equipment.

So change the upgrade curve to make it comparable to costs on the other bonus items. And I forgot about the bloodlust - make it flat at 0.2

Umm... change it to a percent increase. 2% or 3% added to BL.
Maybe 1% strength and 0.1% BL for each +. That would be simpler.

How about rings as an extra armor slot? Also, has anyone suggested light armor for Tattoo wearers? Something much thinner and less-evasive than a large piece of armor that could be worn with a Tattoo...
