Multi, biologically botting or accepted subsitute? (in General)

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] September 1 2005 9:10 AM EDT

Hi all, is it accepted, or reviled, to let someone else access your account and fight in your place if you are unable to do so for any amount of time?

If I went on holiday for a week, or had to go on a business trip, would it be perfectly acceptable to allow my wife to log on and fight in my place?

(This is neither something I have done, nor plan to do. Just a topic for discussion.)

I can say this, I know it is not allowed. At no time should anyone other than yourself use your login.

Whether it is truly harmful is another matter. I think the idea is simply to discourage ALL forms of this type of behavior but not allowing ANY form of it.

I believe in CB1 this was accepted if the person did not have their own account, but in CB2 I think that would be seen as sharing an account, and I believe since the fall of Todd that is no longer accepted.

Letting someone else take care of your account is biological botting indeed.

It is not allowed nor will be allowed at any time.

Of course if your wife would stay out of chat and just not appear to be someone else but you then nobody could find out.

Not allowed.

If we know he is away we can check his battle log Shade.

Heh, knowing my wifes stance, if I let her have my password, she'll sell all my stuff for USD to her paypal account, retire my other characters then change my password...

;)

I'm just sure I remember seeing people (someone?) say they would be on holiday or something and that spouse/bother/etc would be playing for them while they were away. Just thought it would be a nice place to start a non change month discussion.

QBsutekh137 September 1 2005 9:47 AM EDT

But it IS a change month.

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] September 1 2005 9:49 AM EDT

:P

Pedant!

Let me rephrase.

Just thought it would be a nice place to start a discussion not based on this month being a change month, and the changes that could bring.
