No ba for store visit=free money (in General)

As you all know because of the change, we do not have to spend money to visit the store right?

Well there is now a tiny exploit of free money if the weapons in store that cost under 100 cb constantly spawn.

The problem is this: Every character that is created starts off with 100cb, now if you go to store with that character and buy some weapon you can transfer it to another character and retire the current character which is out of money. With this method you can sell a ton of weapons back to store and is a way to bypass not being able to transfer that 100cb stuck on character. This exploit was always around but because it used to cost ba to visit the store it was not economical to do this since fight rewards give more money for the ba spent.

Well that's my little something that just hit me tonight.

Of course the act of exploiting weaknesses or bugs is just as bad as out and out cheating and comes with the same penalty.

I've heard some stupid/bizarre schemes/ideas/exploits, but this one might just top the pile...

How many million characters do you need to create, then buy that <$100 weapon, then transfer it over to another character, then retire the character, then repeat the process, then sell all the weapons you've farmed from the store. Then get reset for being stupid, then get banned for being stupid.

I am honestly lost for words... /sigh

Now just in case some idiot does try to pull this stunt, we best make a rule against this, better still charge people cash to make a new character.

Abuse of this is not that hard to detect, and G Beee already pointed out what the consequences of this exploit is. I don't think this gap needs to be closed, as people who are stupid enough to exploit this, probably would end up banned for other reasons sooner or later.

By the way, back in 2003, when people like Zannhart still were playing ;) the store also did not use BA. I can't recall this scenario being a problem back then...

If you see someone creating a lot of new characters just for this then it's only natural that the player is exploiting something and should be penalized.

Anyone bent on spending that kind of time for peanuts.... sheesh... O_o
