discussion tab in Wiki (in General)

Any thoughts about adding a discussion tab to Wiki? Some changes are horrendous ; they lack foresight or do not take newcomers into consideration.

We have forums for discussion.

I think he meant add a wiki forum instead of just having a General forum.

Not quite what I was proposing, but it's a good alternative without major modification.

No, he meant a discussion tab like metawiki uses to discuss what is on that page.

We have the forums, if someone has a question about the contents of the wiki, they can simply ask here.

The point behind the wiki was to give the community a living document that could be changed as soon as it needed to be and not when an admin (Read : Most times Jon) has time to take care of it.

A special place especially for the wiki area would be very helpful to discuss articles and coordinate writing. If Jon thinks an extra Wiki Forums would not be not worth it, we could make a special wiki entry like the graffiti page.

We have yet to notice any clogging of the general forums with wiki topics, the wiki has been in heavy use since it was put up and not once has there needed to be a place to discuss how to write up pages.

In other words, just use general forum for Wiki discussions and make sure to name your thread in such a way that everyone can read its Wiki related.
