Quarter Blender is now open for nominations! (in Contests)

It's time to pick another Quarter Blender!

What is a QB?: A QB is the person who truly represents what CB is. A QB is helpful in chat and forum, and usually does what they can to support the community. A QB is what makes CB what it is and part of the reason why we come back.

Criteria:

1. Nominees may not be full or sub-admins. Chat Ops are eligible.

2. They must have been playing for at least 2 months. Since this is for the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2005, this means anyone with an account predating August 1, 2005 is eligible.

3. Currently active. If they were great, but they are gone, they aren't really a QB any more.

Here's how we figure out who wins.

First, all candidates must be nominated by SOMEONE ELSE; You cannot nominate yourself.

Second, the nominations MUST be submitted to me via email along with a brief statement as to why you think that person should win. Email me at my mail adress

Lastly, I will do a cursory check of each nominee and review them for finalist status. A poll will go up to determine the popular vote, and then I will weigh each finalist and a QB will be chosen. The entire process takes about 1-2 weeks.

Okay, Pat Sajak's Brain wants me to be a bit clearer on how a QB is chosen. It's rather simple.

First you, a member of Carnage Blender has the opportunity to send a e-mail to the link above. In this e-mail you should really only be giving me one person you would like to see as a QB and they must fit the requirements above. This means that a vote for Vestax will get you nowhere.

Then as it has been done before a post will be made where the nominees can answer questions which can be submitted to the same address listed above. However, please wait until this time to submit your question.

If the number of nominees are too plentiful then we may have another nomination process in order to narrow the selection down a bit more. However the actual vote for QB will be handled in a poll, which will be accessible on the left sidebar.

I hope that covers everything. Older players can feel free to clarify the process where ever I am vague or erroneous.

Sorry, Pat Sajak's Brain has spared me again. I suppose I made the process seem a bit too democratic. These are the things that help determine a QB.

1. Time spent on CB2 helping other players and contributing to the CB2 community as a whole. (Such as CB2 tables, strategy, fan sites, etc.)

2. CB2 Chat participation, CB2 forum participation and CB2 community involvement.

3. CB2 Popular vote.

4. CB2 Admin group recommendations.

5. Jonathans input.

Thanks for putting up with my confusing posts.

Since the schedule has been a little irregular this year, we will select two QBs this time around. Which will catch us up about right. :)

If i remember well only the top 10 finalist email were post.
