If some1 can help me with my outlook 2002 ill give them a Tattoo of Balrog Flame lvl 39,970 622,897nw for free(correct solution).
the situation:
i dont think i messed anything with the registry. but i was using my outlook to update my contacts and receive the email like any other day i use the program. and last night when i opened outlook it gave me an error. (forgot to jot the error msg down). i clicked past the error box only to realize that my profile was missing. along with my calender, contacts and email messages. oddly though i can still receive my emails but everything else is gone. Btw i tried searching the pc for lost/misplaced .pst files to no avail, all the new pst files are less than 1mb in size. Original size was ~250mbs. help?

I hope this helps, because I know how badly it sucks when you're inbox gets whiped. Reason why I stopped using outlook and use gmail, since it's all stored online.
How to use the Inbox Repair Tools to recover e-mail messages in Outlook 2002 and Outlook 2003.
Recover lost inbox emails with OE-Mail Recovery.
Handy Recovery, helped some dude who was in different situation, although he too lost his data.
Google.com always helps in these problems.

Just a thought - when you searched your PC did you think to check these boxes....
Advanced Options / Search System Folders
Advanced Options / Search Hidden Files and Folders
Advanced Options / Search Subfolders
Using the search term *.pst
Outlook normally stores all of it's data files here...
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
Replace %username% for your PC user account
PS. To see this you need to have Show hidden files and folders on in Folder Options on the Tools menu in explorer
Also you could try going into Outlook and going File > Open > Outlook Data File and then selecting *.* All Files rather than *.pst Outlook Data Files - browse to C:\Documents and Settings\%username% and have a look around all the subfolders for a likely sized file...
You cannot fail !!
If u need more help CM me

I don't use outlook because it attracts a lot of viruses. It's like a giant virus magnet.
kind of like Microsoft in general :P
