3D owes me $250k (in Public Record)

Wonderpuff September 14 2005 11:36 PM EDT

3D owes me the interest and transfer fees on the loan I secured to execute on an offer he accepted. 4 days after payment, he logged in and cancelled the deal. Totally shameful move.

QBRanger September 14 2005 11:39 PM EDT

I would think that having correct documentation is needed for your accusation.

If you have such, posting it would be far better than accusing someone of a "Totally shameful move".

And please explain to us that are quite confused this statement-"interest and transfer fees on the loan I secured to execute on an offer he accepted."

Wonderpuff September 14 2005 11:49 PM EDT

Fair enough. He posted a FS/WTB asking if anyone wanted to insta his FF Taz. I responded with two offers, one if he carried my p/p and one if I needed to go get a loan.

He sent me the following CM:
From: 3D Sent: September 12 2005 1:47 AM EDT Delivered: September 12 2005 1:47 AM EDT
If you would like to get a loan then go ahead ill take that insta deal.

I responded:
To: 3D Sent: September 12 2005 1:57 AM EDT Delivered: 10:45 PM EDT
Deal. Give me a day or so to line up the credit.

Much less than 24 hours later, I paid and CM'd/Posted that I had completed my end of the bargain.

_4_ days later, he finally logs in again (had remained offline since sending me the CM accepting my offer) and send me a quick CM saying he received a better deal in the meantime and that my 3 million had been returned.

Shameful.

Need a PR post, otherwise sorry about your luck.

! Love Barney September 15 2005 12:44 AM EDT

the proof is there wuss what else do you need? Its obvious they struck a deal and 3d backed out. CAN YOU NOT SEE THAT?

Grim Reaper September 15 2005 1:27 AM EDT

he gave u back 3mill that you sent him? Why would he owe you 250k though.

Wonderpuff September 15 2005 1:31 AM EDT

Because I financed the money based on his acceptance of my offer.

I don't understand the need for a PR post. I mean, mrwuss or any admin can see my chatmail.

! Love Barney September 15 2005 1:54 AM EDT

breach of contract. he needs to get his money back or more for 3D breaking the agreement, thats how it works in the real world. . .oh wait let me guess, this isnt the real world?

Grim Reaper September 15 2005 4:45 AM EDT

ok folks call in the lawyers, just tell them that 250k usd was stolen and you want it back and once they get to the 3d's house he will be scared and give you the 200k back. Lawyers will be mad at you but hey atleast u get your 200k

Special J September 15 2005 11:03 AM EDT

Unless you have a PR post stating the above then you are out of luck, period. No admin is going to get involved without one.

Mem September 15 2005 1:36 PM EDT

So wait, you got a loan for 3 mil to insta your tat and 3D backed out and gave you your money back, but you want him to pay the interest on your loan? And you never posted in PR? Ha, fat chance.

On the plus side, it isn't very good to be doing business with 3D right now because he doesn't care who he jacks the price up on. I mean, I'm a former clanmate of his and he still charged me 90% on a tat insta that I had previously insta-ed down to him at 65%. I suppose that he did give me a little break since I was prepared to pay 95%...

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] September 15 2005 7:08 PM EDT

Hmmm... Not that I'm asking for an admin to get invoved (if I even do at some point...) But how about my dealing with 3D. In his first (second sale post was a copy of the original, down to the name..) I took the BIN of a single Arrow, and sent the cash to one of his characters (As far as I'm aware, standard practice for BIN's). I posted the transaction in the thread.

I CM'd him after I'd seen him log back on a couple of days later, and not received either the Arrow, nor the money back. So far I've had no answer to that CM.

I post about this again in his second thread. And asked for a reply in the third.

So. Just because I didn't make a PR post (which I can assume wouldn't have been posted in by 3D anyway) If I need admin assistence, I can't get it?

Even if there are multiple legit FS posts, transfer logs and a CM to back my purchase up?

In that case, consider this a PR post on behalf of my purchase, should the need arise that I need to ask for Admin assistence. Although even I feel that asking for a re-set over 7.5K would be a little too much...

Special J September 15 2005 7:43 PM EDT

GL, a PR post consists of both parties agreeing to terms. Which is fairly obvious, eh.

Public record, it's there, use it.

I thought after the recent Monty era, people would be less inclined to trust people and do everything by the book, so to speak.

As for wonderpuff, you took the loan, whatever you used it for doesn't matter, _YOU_ took the loan, so _YOU_ owe the interest, you took the loan, whatever you used it for doesn't matter, _YOU_ took the loan, so _YOU_ owe the interest, you took the loan, whatever you used it for doesn't matter, _YOU_ took the loan, so _YOU_ owe the interest.

Repetition, used to emphasise a point, it's there, use it.

Don't be a jerk. I paid the guy who I borrowed from long ago. Pity the fool who forgets that the internet is primarily inhabited by underaged morlocks.

Special J September 15 2005 8:48 PM EDT

I pity the fool who thinks he can toss caution to the wind and call on others to fix problems created by such behavior.

What I stated stands.

Good day.
