Can i connect a logitech speakers... question :P (in Off-topic)

Is it possible to connect my X-620 speakers to my TV+DVD system? and no my pc is not anywhere near the TV :|

i got an attachment that came in the box. A square looking thing with Black+Green on 1 side, and a Red+White colored ports on the other side. <<no clue what this thingy does :S

and a cable...looks like that mini 3.5mm jack ? double ended.

Depends on the connections you have over there. It'd be easy if the speakers had RCA inputs, but adapters are fairly cheap as well.

my friend showed me how he took regular speakers and made the sound system connect to the pc so the sound systems speakers could be heard on the comp. Sadly he showed me this 3000miles away from my comp so I can't remember how to get the big speakers hooked up to the comp :(

regular speakers can't connect to the pc sound card since the connector that goes inside is different than the ones that go in the stereo. So im stuck with tiny pc 5.1 connector I think is the size or version for which is required to go into the sound card speakers :(

Have fun attaching your speakers to w/e it is. Just don't get fried while you do it.

you dont have to connect the TV to the sound card at all.

you have to have some jacks & cable to connect them to the TV's headphone out and then to the speaker's input

1 jack here ------------< 2 jacks here (red & white) (if you have a mono TV)

2 jacks here (red/white) >---------------<2 jacks here (red/white) (if stereo TV)

yea i got it worked out. and in the end i removed them from my living room and stuck em back in my bedroom.

reason: I had to keep getting off the sofa to turn the knob to control the volume, lol :S lotta phone calls today :S

and man the wires are all over the place...which the same place gets heavy traffic and vaccuumed once a week :P
