Pictures in Wiki (in General)

What do you all think? Would it be neat to add some pictures to the weapons and other places in the wiki to make it more enticing?

Just thought I would ask here in forum, since it would be annoying to have a revision war in Wiki if some people think its a unwise idea.

I'm primarily talking to the other primary contributers to the Wiki, poison, vestax, and whoever else has contributed a lot of stuff to the Wiki.

I think Jon's said he doesn't want to spend the storage and bandwidth on being an image host.

But it would be cool for some things - especially item descriptions. Of course then you'd get fights over which is the better picture for leather boots, but that's perhaps a separate issue.

Indeed, there would be fights over which picture and who would put it up there.

Wiki needs to be fast to look at.


perhaps it COULD use some graphs or so for making clear a certain Protection curb graph or so?

I would appreciate it if the people that actually DO the wiki editing were to respond as well to what they think. As far as I know, few of you who have responded so far do very much if any editing of the wiki.. ;P

I've edited and created pages for the wiki since its infancy. As mentioned here by Jon.

Not blaming you, though. It has been a while since I've used it... I just moved back to the states from Germany and I had a lot of CB down-time.

Right.... instead of asking people that edit the wiki, why not listen to the opinions of people that USE it to, but maybe don't edit it. I didn't realize it was some special little club.
