The letter C rocks! (in Off-topic)

Yeah, just thought I would make this off topic thread to let you all know something. C is awesome! It's great! Here's why:

1. Automatically finds the next un-asterisked opponent
2. Cycles through the list with no need to hold the up button once in a while
3. Makes finding that one guy that's fighting on your list a snap.
4. Just all around speeds things up and makes it easier than using the down key

So yeah, embrace the C! And yeah, I know people have been doing this for a long time now, it's just the first time I decided to try it tonight and I was impressed. I've been playing CB for like a year or two now, and finally tried it lol.

Anyway, I will C you all later!

Actually, I've got a few far more useful letters to teach you....

"F" is for friends who do stuff together,
"U" is for "u" and me!
"N" is for "n"ewhere and anytime at all
down here in the deep blue sea!

also the C looks up the next character whose name starts with a C

so C isn't all about fun :P

Why not just press the Home button?

If only the letter C was a bit closer to the enter key...
(yet another advantage for the Dvorak keyboard layout).

I can reach the return key with my pinky finger and the 'c' key with my thumb with much ease. Heck even the 'x' key isn't so bad, but 'z' is pushing it. Either I have a small keyboard or really big hands, you take your pick.

C is nice, E is bad.

Well, I simply did a:

egrep "^[^e]{24,}$" /usr/share/dict/words

And that word did turn up. For the letter c I got:
formaldehydesulphoxylate
tetraiodophenolphthalein

Hey, am I to get this right, but are you fighting on standard mode as opposed to using the favorites list mode?

And if you answered "Yes" then my next question is "Why?", in addition to this question "Would you like me to change my greasemonkey script to help you out?"

Firefox is the browser everyone should be using.

If you have firefox, install greasemonkey, then install verifex's script.

Then stop hitting C and just hit enter.

Life becomes grand, and rewards go up because the script will fight from the top of the list down everytime you hit enter, skipping over *.
