The past couple of weeks since I got back from honeymoon haven't been good. There's been some very bad news handed out recently - and about people that you think deserve so much better.
So when me and Jo met up with some good friends tonight for drinking - lots BTW - and good food we were the bearers of bad news for the first ten minutes. Then they told us that they had gotten engaged whilst we were on our honeymoon. Good news, good news! The sort of news that makes you just smile from the inside out. Two very nice people, two of the nicest I know, have just decided to spend the rest of their lives together. That news - and probably a bit of the very nice liqueurs we finished the night with! - made me feel very warm inside and I just wanted to share the good news with you lot on here...
I'm off to bed now, grinning from ear to ear =)
