Just wanted to know what the general consensus would be on this topic.
ie. If an upgrade that costs $2-3mill cb2 were to be added to a weapon to only add an extra 3-10K in dmg, would it be a worthwhile upgrade, or no?
same type of question for armor.?
thx in advance for everybody's inputs and feedback :P

It really depends on how much damage you are doing at the time. I go off percentage more than amount added.

Depends on your set-up and where your damage comes from.
e.g. If you don't last long in melee then pump your "bonus granting" armours. If you last well into melee per battle then you would more likely be best served sticking it on your weps for best return.

Upgrading your weapons depends on whether or not you see a difference in your battles. When fighting as a tank I always went without upgrading a weapon for as long as I could - I would start to see a few losses and realize it was time to upgrade. Most people upgrade their weapons far above what they actually need.
With regards to armour on the other hand AC blocks a percentage of damage received. That percentage remains the same no matter what the size of the damage. The same is true of the bonus giving armours and the increase to stats. So where armours are concerned the upgrage becomes worth more than what you originally spend - unlike the weapon upgrade.

if you now do 40k damage and then 50k damage then you will do 25% more damage after the upgrade. Sounds worth it to me.
for armor, every AC = 0.21% damage blocking, so every 10 AC = ~2% less damage you take...
Another thing to consider is how many doubles or triples you get. If you get a lot of doubles then that 3-10k damage a hit becomes 6-20k damage extra a round.
