Hey guys,
I decided that I would like to try, once more, to hold a poker tourney. I have decided on a poker server that will hopefully work and I think with enough advance time we will be able to fill up a table.
Here's what you do to join:
1. go to http://www.pokerroom.com/ and create a "play money account".
2. send 25,000 CB2$ to my character CBBank.
3. Post a comment here saying you would like to play and a time that is good for you next weekend (not this coming weekend but the next). So your post should look like this:
Hi, I would like to enter.
[Transfer log proof of payment here]
Account name on pokerroom.com (so I can determine you have paid)
Day, time that is best for me next weekend.
4. Check back here for the time that I decide the tournament will be held.
5. Check here on the day of the tourney for the name of the table that we will be using and join it!
There are ten spots at the table so:
1st place=70%= 187,500 CB2$
2nd place=25%=62,500 CB2$
I will be playing, so if I win my share will be sent to the Central Bank.
Good Luck!

If we can't make the scheduled time, do we get our entrance fee back? Also, is this Texas Hold Em?

that's not how you play poker shade, why not give it to central bank. Giving it to the next highest isnt really fair cause they didn't win.

I think we can figure it out while we're playing, give us something to talk about. And yes this will be No Limit Hold 'Em.

Oh and if you can't make the scheduled time you will get your entrance fee back.
I'm assuming registration for this thing is still open...

Time? I don't really care. Given a day or two of notice before it starts I should be able to fit it in easily. Just bare in mind that I am on the other side of the world to most of you, so don't set it at 3am for me ;) I'm about 14 hours ahead of CB's server time.
What are the requirements to register at pokerroom.com?

Wow, I completely forgot about this contest. What happened was I realized that there wasn't a lot of interest so not a lot of people signed up and I started checking on the post less and less. Also, I got a PS2 on the weekend of the tournament and that didn't exactly "remind me" about the post. Anyway, there is not enough interest in the contest and I will be refunding the three people that paid the entry fee. Sorry all.
Three people paid? You only need four for poker, and you were playing, I assume. That would have worked. I would love to join, as well, depending on the requirements of pokerroom.com.
