How much would you pay for a top5 tattoo? (in General)

Since we shouldn't post stuff like this in Mikel's thread I wanted to start a discussion about insta up or even buying a top5 tattoo...Mikel's tattoo is:

Infected Paper Cut of Death level 917,020 18,364,881

and is the 3rd largest in the game...

I for one hope that he gets his 150% ... :P

150% is a good price. Too bad i wont be paying it :P

Again it's actually the 5th largest - I wouldn't pay 150% for it myself but then again there was ALOT of demand for insta's on it in Mikel's other FS thread so good on him for trying to get as much money as possible for it.

I say good for him, but it's still extortion.

i would go as far as 100%. But again...that's still alot of cash.

I can say I have already turned down an offer for an insta at 200%. So 150% for an insta is not out of line.

the price is high for super tattoos ... i mean we are in agreement that the tattoo can make or break a strat ...

If I remember correctly, when Budice had the highest tattoo at about 450k or so, it was bought at about 150% of its NW.

So 150% for a top 5 tattoo is not out of line given the past. Just depends on those that can both use it and can afford an insta.

Insta rates have changed a lot since then.

I think the rate is perfectly fine. The part about instant it might as well run into the ....USD spender :P

Those who can afford the insta = big USD spenders.

Since DAWG already has a tattoo bigger than this the likely people to take this insta deal are glory, freed, or possibly jayuu.

When money is no object no price is out of the question, I suspect Mikel could've put the price at 200% of NW difference and he would still get a sale..

150% of NW difference will only come to about 2 or 3 mil for someone like Glory who already has a reasonably big tattoo.

Derek is correct, it wouldn't be that much for someone who already has a big tattoo. And then you have to realize that as it gets lower in levels from an insta value drops. It only cost DAWG about 2 mil to insta up from Infected Paper Cut to Mithril Golem at a 150% insta rate.

If I were trying to be greedy, I would've offered it at 200% and would've still gotten it, as it stands right now I've already insta'ed it at 150%. One person beat out the other in an offer by 1 minunte (an admin can feel free to confirm that my CM's were one minute apart if there is any issues), and I don't want them to bid against each other to get it. I got my asking price that is what matters to me.
Same when I sold Mikel, I got what I wanted out of it and stopped the bidding after that point.

If that was a ToJ, I'd probably be in debt for about half a year. :P
