Find me the statistics of these cars: 7 cars left (in Contests)

AdminShade October 22 2005 5:47 PM EDT

I want the following statistics for a list of 37 cars and am too lazy to find them myself, the statistics I want are:

Engine Type:
Displacement in cubic centimeters :
Power of the car in break horse power and in kilo Watts :
Torque in Newton meters :
Weight in kilo grams :
Acceleration to 100 kilometers / hour :
Top Speed in kilometers / hour :

Optional Statistics:
Addition of RPM for the power and torque.
Additional power in bhp per ton.
Displacement in liters.
If the car is RWD / FWD or 4WD.
Notice: a link to a site for confirmation would be welcome :)

Example:

Dodge Viper SRT-10
Engine type: V10
Displacement: 8277 cc / 8,2 liters
Power: 500 bhp / 372 kW // 5600 RPM
Torque: 712 Nm // 4200 RPM
Weight: 1536 kg
Power per ton: 325,5
Acceleration 0-100: below 4.0 seconds
Top Speed: 306 km/hour
Drivetrain: RWD

Dodge Viper SRT-10

If you don't understand what I ask try to ask me politely to explain what you don't get. I might be willing to help and explain :)

And now for the list of the cars:

Aston Martin DB9
Audi A4 3.2 FSI quattro
Audi TT 3.2 quattro
Audi A3 3.2 quattro
BMW M3 GTR
Cadillac CTS
Chevrolet Corvette C6
Chevrolet Corvette C6R
Dodge Viper SRT-10
Fiat Punto
Ford GT
Ford Mustang GT
General Motors Cadillac CTS
General Motors Cobalt SS
Lamborghini Murcielago
Lamborghini Gallardo
Lexus IS300
Lotus Elise
Mazda RX-7
Mazda RX8
Mercedes-Benz CLK 500
Mercedes-Benz SL500
Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren
Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII
2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT
Pontiac GTO
Porsche 911 Carrera S
Porsche 911 GT2
Porsche 911 Turbo S
Porsche Cayman S
Porsche Carrera GT
Renault Clio V6
Subaru Impreza WRX STi
Toyota Supra
Vauxhall Monaro VXR
Volkswagen Golf V

Some things about the cars:

Some cars are US and some are European
Most cars list a specific model/edition, some don't
In that case either list a few versions and/or try a decent version, but most of them are fixed.
if no year is listed take the latest version (2005)
I need basic stats, not modded versions.

Example: Fiat Punto doesn't list a model, then either put up a list of models , try the 1.9 liter one or ask me which i'd want ;)

Prize: well I'm not that rich but I think I could spend 5k on a set of correct and full statistics per car, first person to post the correct ones wins per car.

Audi A3 3.2 quattro

Sent NightStrike 25k for his efforts...

Nightstrike forgot the power / ton calculations so that cost him points.
Also an Audi quattro always has 4WD... both A4 and A3 were wrong.
And another thing, since when is an Audi A3 3.2 quattro running with a displacement of 2.0 liters when it is said that it runs with 3.2 ?

That made him get less money... and I filled in those gaps already...

25K for four responses? Shade, first of all, the A4 comes with AWD, not 4WD. Check the site and you'll see that I copied/pasted directly from it. Second, there is no A3 3.2 on Audi's site. There is an A3 2.0.

Even so, 25K for four responses? That's lousy.

48Zach October 23 2005 11:35 AM EDT

NightStrike , it even says at top of thread , 5k per car , or 10k if i feel in a good modd :)

AdminNightStrike October 23 2005 11:35 AM EDT

This is directly from their website for the A4 3.2. They list it as all wheel drive. What makes you think that it's four wheel drive?

A4 3.2 Specifications
Model Configuration
*
255 hp with 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive

*
255 hp with 6-speed manual transmission and quattro all-wheel drive

*
255 hp with Audi multitronic™ Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and FrontTrak® front-wheel drive

You can check on the details here at the same link that I posted in the information block for the car entry above.

AdminNightStrike October 23 2005 11:38 AM EDT

Zach,

He changed it to 10k / 15k.

Also, The power/ton ratio was optional. How could that have cost me points?

48Zach October 23 2005 11:40 AM EDT

I got only 30k for like 20 posts and for bout...7 cars so its not that big of a deal

AdminNightStrike October 23 2005 11:42 AM EDT

What's the point in having a set of rules if they aren't followed? That's like how people call this place a "free market economy". Why bother? It isn't.

48Zach October 23 2005 11:47 AM EDT

get over it dude , if you didnt want to help you shouldnt have

AdminNightStrike October 23 2005 11:49 AM EDT

It was a contest post, not a charity post. I posted the data because I wanted the cash. I followed the guidelines, and was punished because of it. That really blows.

AdminShade October 23 2005 4:21 PM EDT

NightStrike: since when is all wheels for a 4 wheel automobile not 4 wheel drive? Quattro is a special edition with 4 wheel drive...

Though indeed the A3 is indeed front wheel drive.

The costing you points was as opposed to the full credit reward for the power to weight ratio.

But making the huge mistake of failing to follow the 'guidelines' and post a 2.0 liter displacement for a 3.2 liter edition is what cost you the most... because that was what made the difference for that model to be more powerful.
That you couldn't find it on the official site isn't my problem, i found one on another website without any problems.

I have been sent a chat mail from Zach that he gave you money, so I will not give you any money for the mistake i made about the A3 being front wheel drive that you indeed had correctly.

now stop whining and bothering my contest, you got your money.
