Been busy with the Wiki: (in General)

I changed the entire layout for the Forging Formulae page:

Removed base AC notices, go to the item pages for them,
Changed the silly | formula | to X[formula] and +[formula] the way it used to be back in the days of cb1 forums ;)

I changed most of the Armor pages to resemble 1 style:

Added lots of information about magic penalties when they were missing
Added information about skill penalties and bonuses
Added some fun facts for the style
Fixed some spelling errors

took me quite a few hours but I feel happy about doing it :)

but not in a chicken or turkey costume, just in my normal outfit :p



But this is only part 1 of my changes, still need many items + the weapons section needs some checking imo :)

Changed the Vampiric Aura misconception on the Enchant Defense Spells page.

Also fixed some typos there.

Nice work on the wiki but I thought the turkey costume was your regular outfit. =)

You forgot a pretty significant event, though: the day on which new users begin to receive the NUB!

I know I don't have all the events yet... the NUB would be a milestone also yes.


But as far as it goes for character milestones, not everybody should fill in their own milestone because that would make a true mess out of the page.

So we dont need 10 entries of: yay i finally got to 500k mpr and the likes ;)

Yes, that's true: it should be milestones for CB as a whole, not personal milestones.

Shade, I think we may need to change the URLs you have used?
Not everyone is logged into 'www.carnageblender.com'. The canonical name is 'carnageblender.com' but others are also logged in under 'cb2.carnageblender.com' or by IP number. For those, absolute URLs often don't work.

Also, I know that some of the links (to CB forums for example) have caused issues with the sidebar. I've seen occasions whereupon the "search by user" and "get more BA" pop-ups don't work. Simply changing the URL extension fixes this though :)

Please, keep links to CB pages from the Wiki to an absolute minimum. It looks like the Wiki does not support relative links, and absolute URLs only work properly for those that access the site via the same domain as the URL points to. If someone knows a way to get the Wiki to accept relative (or other links without a domain part), then that would be great...

Fixed all links to be relative.

Added a Bot Check entry.

It is linked from the Getting Started page and from the Fighting and Forging pages.

Does anyone have the numbers of each supporter items (tats) that were sold so we know how many went to the tattoo artist. So we could maybe put those under CB2 Milestones

does the wiki have a schedule of the wacky xp/money times? i have tried to find it both there and help/faq. i seem to remember one around somewhere but the last few times i have tried to find it, i have not been able to.

I just realized that you're missing two other important events: the 4th supporter item (RoE), and the end of camping.

the milestones are interesting, I was working on a similar document for Cb1, got up to the intro of Cb2, and ran out of steam :-P

Added / fixed the new Lochaber Axe forging formulae

'removed' 9 pages which all were copies of an existing page.

all of those pages were made by a player called Stryfe, who had previously also entered other wrong things into the wiki if I recall correctly.

All of the recent changes are by Shade...

those pages were utterly useless as they were copies of another page, horrible!

Anyway now for some more useful changes:

Added information about the item Power Rating (to some known as iPR) that Armors and Tattoos add to your character's PR.

Changed some lines in the Armor page to make some things more clear for newer people

Added information about Max Tattoo and how it reacts to your character.

Added some more pages that linked from the forging page (not the wiki forging page but the page you are when actually forging) to actually give you a wiki page, instead of a blank page you had to 'create'
