G_Beee's Wheel (in Changelog)
Yes, you heard it here first. The mousewheel now controls opponents on left nav bar in Mozilla based browsers, just like IE!

Doesn't work :S
There was a glitch in the matrix, please try again.
October 26 2005 6:33 PM EDT
Okay, _now_ it works.
Refresh sidebar first, of course.
October 26 2005 6:34 PM EDT
Well done, I'm impressed. Thanks !
And a changelog with my name in it too :)
October 26 2005 6:34 PM EDT
I like it? small change. But it'll help lol
October 26 2005 6:39 PM EDT
i like it
October 26 2005 6:40 PM EDT
Thank you thank you thank you! I missed the ability to do this once I made the switch to FF.
BTW, when I delete opponents from my favourite it used to refresh the list back to the top opponent. Now it puts it at the opponent who was just above the deleted one. Is this a bug or a feature?

October 26 2005 6:42 PM EDT
Thanks boss ;)
You want it to go to the top after a delete? That always annoyed me, that's why I'm glad it is the way it is now. :)
October 26 2005 6:59 PM EDT
No, I like it like this. It makes sense for those times when you're organising your fightlist after a strat change for instance. Like I am at the moment, which is why I noticed it! It had always irritated me before, especially when the person you just deleted was at the bottom of the list....
Tiny details but they add up. Thanks!
October 26 2005 7:16 PM EDT
Works, but only when mouse hovers over the side bar, not when it's on this frame.
October 26 2005 7:17 PM EDT
Wouldn't it be nice too if after you've just deleted someone and then hit the enter button to start fighting again it didn't actually delete the next person in line.
If I had a $ for every time I've cleared a couple of names of my list that I didn't want to I'd have enough to rival the highest NW players in the game :)
Of course - cake and eat it spring to mind so let me just say I'm happy with this change as it is and leave it at that. :)
October 26 2005 7:23 PM EDT
Very nice! I love that "delete" doesn't take us to the top anymore!
Can you change it to do the same for the "favoritify" button? That you go to the next opponent after you "favoritify" an opponent, instead of going to the top?
i was just about to resond with what G_Beee said.
October 26 2005 8:32 PM EDT
it would be less intuitive to make enter mean "fight" instead of "submit."
October 26 2005 9:36 PM EDT
Ah now IE has nothing over firefox...
October 26 2005 11:26 PM EDT
I just want to know why Firefox does not support this by default.
October 27 2005 12:09 AM EDT
probably someone on the FF team thinks the wheel should always scroll the page itself
I second Maelstrom's request.
October 27 2005 1:02 AM EDT
Cool, we have scrolling stuff. Now lets get on to fixing that pesky MPR bug......aren't I just the nagging Nancy... :O)
October 27 2005 4:48 AM EDT
YES... I've been keeping an Explorer shortcut in my start menu, for this reason only... Now? no need! thanks Jon!
October 27 2005 6:58 AM EDT
This is very cool, thanks Verifex, Jonathan and G Beee :)
October 27 2005 11:49 AM EDT
perhaps a bug, perhaps not the feature but:
the scroll wheel doesn't work on the pick characters drop down menu, I know that there are only 2, and for supporters 5 characters to pick from but it shouldn't be too hard to make it work? ;)
October 27 2005 11:55 AM EDT
"The mousewheel now controls opponents on left nav bar"
October 27 2005 12:10 PM EDT
D'oh, i knew that.
any chance of making it work for the character drop down list?
maybe // no
October 28 2005 9:37 AM EDT
where's YOU's Wheel? A nice one like this for forging is very cool also.
Hehe this is cool...thanks!

Interesting that I was using IE the entire time, and before my wheel never worked, and now it does...
