Strange cookie collected by my PC. (BUG?) (in General)

Well here is the explanation:

I play Carnage Blender 2 from www.carnageblender.com
and I play Carnage Blender 1 from cb1.carnageblender.com

From both games my Fire Fox has 4 cookies stored, which is normal, their names are:

ad session id
ad browser id
last visit
ad user login

all makes perfect sense to me, BUT:

very recently, like when the left frame was updated by Verifex / Jonathan i began to collect another cookie from:

carnageblender.com

with the name:

ad session id


and here comes the weird part: I never log into carnage blender 2 using the url carnageblender.com, not even when i fail auctions and bid again, they link to cb2.carnageblender.com, which i don't like, so i check from auctions => my bids.

and i never sign in on carnageblender.com either, so how does my pc suddenly get a cookie from a site (that specific url) that i never used?

is it a 'bug' with the new sidebar that works on a different url so that it makes it's own cookies or is it something completely different... ?


so my questions are:

why do i get a cookie from carnageblender.com?
and can auctions be linked inside the game, like we link inside the game from forums?

Did the cookie just trash the www extension? It would then be the same link as your CB2

Never heard of a cookie trashing the www extention (or pretention) but i'm no expert on it...

why would the cookie trash the www anyway if it already exists with the www perfectly fresh?

Cookies for the domain carnageblender.com also match subdomains, so if you intend to play both CB1 and CB2 with the same browser, it's not recommended to login to CB2 as http://carnageblender.com. Use http://www.carnageblender.com or http://cb2.carnageblender.com instead.

Which is why people are having problems staying logged in.

I AM using www.carnageblender.com and cb1.carnageblender.com

so on that part i am doing nothing 'wrong'


perhaps that people have problems with something in the new code (but i'm not a professional so i am only guessing) that makes the game 'run' from carnageblender.com instead of their usual url?
