Banks (in General)

How many people actually run a bank here on CB2 like CupofJoe does? I see numerous characters with the term "Bank" in the name, but I've only seen CupofJoe put effort into creating a real service where you can earn interest easily. Do others do it in the same structured manner as he does (as opposed to an ad-hoc system)?

Many of the people who have created a "Bank" character mean for it to be their own personal piggy bank, not a community or business feature. It's where we keep our extra equipment (read: junk) or keep our "savings", for big future purchases.

Bank/Mule characters can also be a place where you keep your own stuff. That was pretty common in cb1, but you only get 5 characters now so I don't know if very many people use mules in cb2

There are however some players that do run a loaning service but not all of them advertise as well as others perhaps :)

I'm not looking for loans. I'm looking to make fire-and-forget deposits like I do with CupofJoe.

perhaps then send a chat mail to the users that do such loan services?

i think he meant bank in the acct. name, not the char names...lol
