Suggestion for training (in General)

St00pidSucks November 9 2005 10:27 AM EST

I have an idea for training your minions, that will make it easier for people who like to train their minions according to a specific equation (or something of that sort). So I think it would really help people (like me) a lot to have the option to train according to a specific equation. Ex. Since I have a single tank character, I like to keep my HP twice as high as my ST and DX. So my equation would be something like.....

HP = 2ST | ST = DX | DX = AMF | AMF = ST

Of course, this idea can be greatly improved, but its a start. So if you have any more suggestions for this idea, please post them on this thread.

I will support this idea but only if the code dont prove too strenuous... I mean otherwise your making someone else pay for your laziness and that not cool. But if its simple code then yeah cool it would be nice.

hey man im not lazy! i just dont know programming..... only simple HTML stuff.... but everybody knows simple HTML stuff :-P

just train 1/3 full exp into HP

Then....

1/3 exp into STR
1/2 exp into DX
All exp into AMF, there ya go, your equation...lol

Actually, no, smallpau1, because your technique will assign XP in the following fractions:

1/3 HP, 2/9 ST, 2/9 DX, 2/9 AMF.

Verifex's script allows you to save training setups.

I'd give you the link, but I can't find it. I'm sure Verifex will post it here once he notices...

SmallPaul's statement is wrong..... exactly why i think this would benefit CB :-)

smallpau1 - Go Blues [Lower My Fees] November 9 2005 10:14 PM EST

ok, 1/4 HP

1/3 STR
1/3 DX
1/3 AMF

better? I was just getting ready for my calc class before, so i didnt want math on the brain yet...=P

St00pidSucks November 10 2005 12:46 AM EST

lol thats way off, first off..... i would still have a bunch of XP left over........ second, my HP needs to be twice that of my other skills (excluding bloodlust, which i train according to my strength, so when ever i see it at .90 or something, i train it....).

Use the other option and a calculator. That is why it was put it.

St00pidSucks November 10 2005 10:24 AM EST

thats what im doing but i dont like doing it. would YOU want to go pull out a claculator and input everything just to get your training right?

Zoglog[T] [big bucks] November 10 2005 11:33 AM EST

If you want it specific then deal with it like that or use the fractions given like a lot of us do, we don't need any more training features if we already have an option to put a specific amount.

there are good improvements and lame persons improvements, if you don't like calculating it then don't and train on a guess ;)

imo this suggestion can be done with either Verifex' script or just by inputting information on the training page. If you need it more difficult, go to the 'do it yourself' store ;)
