ToA on a mage? (in General)

why would someone put a ToA on a mage?

i can see how its might be useful on a single mage...the dx helping him not get hit....

but if you have 2 or more chars on a squad....would not a ToJ or ToE or anything else be more useful on a mage than a ToA?

i mean it does not increase their spell speed does it?

wouldn't you put a ToA on a team with a tank instead so you only had to train HP and a skill/spell of some sort for the tank?

"why would someone put a ToA on a mage?"

The same reason most people do a lot of things.
Because they're stupid. ;)

CoC archers.

But a ToE would be much better.

The only thing I can think of is to give your Mage some dex to dodge physical attacks. Couple that with a pair of DBs and you might fare well versus other non ToA tanks.

ToA Tanks however, will still hit you multiple times.

I would not waste any points on dex on a mage.

Just use some DB's. You will be hit 2 times from the dex difference vs almost all tanks.

There was a COC archer named Alucard in the beginning of cb2 but eventually discovered that is was a waste of xp to boost archery and spend points on str/dex instead of boosting HP and COC.

/me wipes away a tear. And that very great CoC archer now belongs to me...=*)
