Well I know there are other threads, but most of them just made fun of how weak UC is :P I just want to put my idea here. And any one who wants to do the same, please be my guest.
I used to have a +87 UC effect, and yes I know all about UC. It's strength and weakness. So I would really want to see it being an alternative choice from bottom to top, and not just being good in lower MPR like Sefton described as "Katana".
That said, my idea is :
1) Don't change anything on the skill. Maintain every attribute as it is.
2) Remove HG from Gloves section
3) Insert HG in Weapons section, maybe give it a better name like Helm's Battle Knuckles or something. But it can only upgrade + . No x.
4) Remove str bonus from HG
5) Make HG upgrade cost 80% more expensive than upgrading the + on BONE, at equivalent level.
These change, will give players a new option from the tradition, E / M / T / W definition. It adds a new minion type = MONK !
And my argument :
1) UC by itself with all the attributes it already have, is actually a very competitive skill. But it's just very impractical to play because HG and Gi are armour, upgrading them will increase PR burden. Unlike other tanks that can upgrade weapons and having discount on PR increment.
2) UC's damage is too tiny and always having trouble hurting other players with TOE. So having another weapon option to upgrade it's ability hence damage via CB2 spending, is great.
