I don't know why I just thought of this, and it may have been brought up before...
UC is a weapon, more or less, correct? Now, I can pay a fee to name any of my other weapons to give them a boost, what about naming one's UC?
Have a link on the training page "Name your UC style" or "Master a UC style", and it would take you through a sequence just like the Blacksmith's "Reforge an item with a name of power" - type your style name, go to Paypal, etc. The naming could result in an increase to the mysterious "base damage" number.
The idea is that the minion has trained enough to master a specific, unique, deadlier than most style of UC, so names could be as simple as "ju jitsu", or personalized like "Master Kai's Tae Kwon Do", of fanciful, like "Crouching Tiger Style", "Drunken Master Style", or what I would choose, "Paws of Iron" :P
I'm not a programmer, so I really don't know how crazy an idea it actually is, but I thought I'd throw it out here for everybody to analyze, 'cuz UC still needs more love! :)

Indirectly this is done by naming your UC bonus giving Armor.
When naming your Helm's Gauntlets then you will also increase the UC effect they give.

As a fan of judo, I want to tell you, name armor is *not* the same thing as naming your martial arts style, even if it may work out that way numbers-wise.

So what benefit does naming your armour give you in real life? ;)
And isn't there a FORS for naming skills and spells?

The FORS only addresses naming spells, nothing about skills, and UC is a unique skill from all the rest - it is in itself a weapon. If it makes even a modicum of sense, one would think it couldn't be an RS :P
