Childsplay: The home stretch (in Off-topic)

Well, we've reached the home stretch now. Starting tomorrow, I plan to sell off the three donated characters then convert the CB2 to cash. I'd like to finish this up by the end of the week.

I'm open to suggestions on the best way to convert to USD. I thought I would simply ask people to bid on the price-per-million, sort by high-low bid. Then let each person buy as much as they want at the price they offered until there's nothing left.

Any other suggestions on how to do this? I'm especially interested in hearing from people with experience selling CB for USD.

Or let people bid on a price and volume then sort by price. Which makes it a single pass rather than double pass.

Also let people offering higher prices (per mil) be able to buy more money to generate more cash, since it is for the Charity.

Ok. so I'm thinking of doing the CB$ -> US$ auction as below. I would appreciate constructive comments on my approach from those who have had successful sales of this type.

----- start -----
This year's Child's Play charity is drawing to a close. Thanks to generous donations I have almost 32M to sell for USD. (There are a few last minute donations to sell which I'll include here asap.)

It seems unlikely that anyone will buy the lump sum, so I want to auction this money in a way that lets everyone participate.

Please make a bid in the form of USD per 1Million CB, and tell me the minimum amount of CB you commit to buying. When the tread closes, I will rank bid first by amount-per-million, then by minimum amount of CB. High bidders can purchase *more* than their minimum, but declining to buy the minimum will be considered scamming. I do not want to encourage fake bids to drive the price up.

Example.
Albert bids $15, min of 4 Mill
Betty bids $15, min of 5 Mill
Chuck bids $12, min of 10 Mill.
Darla bids $12, min of 9 Mill

Ranking would be
1) Betty
2) Albert
3) Chuck
4) Darla
----- end -----

I think it may be better to rank them that way instead of putting Chuck first (even though the total amount paid by Chuck would be higher).

Opinions from those who have had success converting to USD?
