Can anyone tell me what this means. That was a CM when i signed in i cant understand it and curiosity is killing me.
Salut! M-am gandit sa salut unul din probabil prea putinii romani de pe aici!

It looks like French to me.
Salut = hi or hello.

It's not French or Spanish. Maybe Italian, Romanian, or some other Latin-based language.

But if it is a CM you got, why not ask the person who sent it to you?
I'm 90% sure its Rumanian. I could ask my wife what it means, but she sleeps already.
I did and received no answer and I'm a very impatient person :)
is that it or are you guessing
Salut! M am gandit its salut one for probabil too putinii novel from pe here!

Perhaps read his former post then? :)
Greetings. I thought (about) this greetings but there are probably too few romanians in here (or this place).
Or perhaps it is "Hello! I had thought I was greeting one of (unlikely?) too few Romanians of (from) around here."
Perhaps this individual who sent you the message confused you with another person from his or her country.

thats some good and plausible work thrakattack how'd you come to that translation?
I looked at three on-line Romanian to English translation programs, none of which were capable of translating the full phrase (two of the programs require you to pay to download the full capabilities of the program, but I wasn't that curious). :-)
I then looked at several Romanian to English dictionaries. One of them gave variations and common usages of most of the words used in the sentence. Gandit is modified in another phrase as "thought out," for example, and "well thought" in a third phrase.
Salut! is a bit of a pain because, depending upon the context, can mean either hello or goodbye. I doubt that I'm even close to a perfect translation, but I think I'm in the ballpark.

From a romanian player on www.coldfirestudios.com space game.(I posted the message there a few days ago) So I'd say thrakattack got it almost perfect. Sorry I didn't get it posted earlier.
