censorship or (in Public Record)

kryuk January 11 2006 6:29 AM EST

Yes big brother is definately watching.

I made 3 posts last night after Vestax (in his infinite wisdom) closed the Moto/Multi thread. One still shows in the forum listing but the other two were both deleted and no mention of the deletion was made in the forum.

I truly hope that the majority of CB players see this for what it is.

If I have to explain it then it is already too late
.

AdminShade January 11 2006 6:36 AM EST

Perhaps you need to be reminded of certain rules that we still have here then, I changed that post you refer to, the other 2 I don't know of.

kryuk January 11 2006 6:52 AM EST

I'm not talking about the post that you paraphrased for me :) that was a couple of days ago.

I'm talking about the posts I made last night after Vestax closed the 2 Moto threads

I've been around long enough to know what the rules are and how they are applied

QBBast [Hidden Agenda] January 11 2006 6:54 AM EST

And yet not long enough to resign yourself to them.

UltimaSpock [Forge Frog Services] January 11 2006 7:00 AM EST

I do not know anything about all of you are talking, but what is certain is that kruyk is still able to post, so there is no censorship here.

A few years before I tried to post on a political forum that was not on the same opinion than me (that's an euphemism), and all my interesting posts were removed, and also all my posts about any censorship...

That was a very good filtered forum LOL

PirateKing January 11 2006 9:15 AM EST

Kryuk, what are you trying to accomplish here? Seriously. What?

If it is some kind of homily about "free speech" and such, I'm sorry, but there ain't no such thing here. The rules are whatever the designer wants them to be. If you feel you have been wronged somehow, posting outrage and indignation will accomplish nothing.

BlueWolf January 11 2006 10:34 AM EST

If he goes on an outrage, he will just get in trouble. XD let him rant and rave, it will be his fault when he gets in trouble.

AdminShade January 11 2006 10:35 AM EST

Instead perhaps have him have the opportunity to calm down? Which would prevent nastiness :)

Derek January 11 2006 2:36 PM EST

I saw one of the posts you made, the subject was "amazing" and the body of the message said "nuff said".

If the "censorship" you speak of is the deleting of rubbish like this that adds nothing to the game then I'm all for it.

QBPixel Sage January 11 2006 2:45 PM EST

kryuk, you're an example of someone who tries to use powerful words to prove something rather pathetic. Vestax in his proper wisdom (which is obviously higher than your's) closed the original Moto/Multi thread because it was getting out of hand.

You on the other hand thought closing a thread meant that you had the right to open another similar thread to continue the discussion. Just in case you couldn't figure it out, the thread was closed because the discussion needed to end.

Was Vestax wrong to close it? Absolutely not, but you were absolutely wrong to put effort in continuing it. He did post a Public Record regarding the closing of your thread. Then you posted yet another thread titled "Amazing". It is amazing that you see yourself higher than CB's authority here. What isn't amazing is seeing Vestax close your rather annoying and unnecessary threads.

Grow up. The fact that the admins had discussed the BCMoto problem and that you have NOT seen the conversation means you are incapable of drawing proper conclusions. Live with it.

And I hope the majority of CB players does see this for what it is. Its taking the necessary precautions to prevent things of getting way out of hand, from having people spam the forums and act plain stupid.

Vestax, good move, good call.

Special J January 11 2006 3:55 PM EST

I removed the useless post of "amazing" and "nuff said", because it was *useless* spam from you. If you want to continue down the road of spam then by all means just stop posting now to save the trouble of a forum ban.

Enjoy your day.

Phrede January 11 2006 5:35 PM EST

Boys - this is just a game. Never lose sight of that :-).

Those cat drawings were great in that other post.

kryuk January 11 2006 9:17 PM EST

I posted a really long post that was just insulting to Pixel because he stated the fact of why my posts were removed.
I'm leaving! /cry /cry

...this is and will be my final post on any version of CB.

Special J January 11 2006 9:19 PM EST

Good bye?

wait wait,
How about just,

Bye.

[YG]Wildthing January 12 2006 12:25 AM EST

I dont get you guys at all. Most of you guys have no idea what this is all about, yet you still make stupid posts. I for one am happy to see that people are speaking out against the outrages that have arisen recently. They have more balls than most of you combined together. Kryuk is one of a few people that would stand and say what he really means, unlike someother people who are afraid of being fined or banned over a stupid game. People should be allowed to say what they want, when they want, especially if it is/was in defense of another well known player

Undertow January 12 2006 12:29 AM EST

Oh, your right.

If he wants to hit his head against a brick wall, I wish him the best of a headache.

Look, do you really think Jon cares enough about his reputation to ban 'Moto simply because he spoke out against Jon?

It seems to me like far more hassle (read, nagging from players) than Jon cares for.

Get over it.

Relic January 12 2006 12:34 AM EST

"People should be allowed to say what they want, when they want, especially if it is/was in defense of another well known player"

Did you take stupid pills this morning? The game is owned and operated by Jonathan. There is no freedom of speech here, there is no bill of rights to support your demands. All this ranting and raving is nothing more to me than farts in the wind.....funny but not effective beyond that. :)

QBPixel Sage January 12 2006 12:43 AM EST

@Special J: Good move, good call =D
@Freed: Those cat drawings are awesome!
@kryuk: Sorry, but you just made no sense. Final post? Okay, awesome.
@Special J again: ditto.
@Max: ditto.
@Wildthing: On the contrary, most of us DO have the knowledge of what this is about, and the only one making stupid posts here (or spam if you will) is kryuk. The outrage wasn't the banning of BCMoto and his multi accounts; it was the users like kryuk that made it a big issue, even though they had not enough information to draw such conclusions as they did.

Also, I agree with you that people should be allowed to say what they want, so long as they keep themselves from getting out of hand. Sorry, but even if the majority of us (I think) are in a free country, CB isn't a country. Its a game (and not a stupid game, mind you). Total free speech doesn't apply to this game, hence the deleting of spam, cussing, and being just plain stupid.

As far as defending well known players, you may well know yourself that there have been quiet a few other instances where well known players have done much wrong. According to the admins' investigation, BCMoto was no different.

Wildthing, I'm not writing this response as a way to be insulting or to make you look bad. I'm just bringing into light that kryuk was wrong in his doing, and the admins were wise to deal with him as they did. I don't want to and don't like making enemies with people, and I wish that you would hold no hard feelings against me. Sounds good?

Vaynard [Fees Dirt Cheap] January 12 2006 12:54 AM EST

Personally, I hate to see anyone leave CB in anger, it is a great place. Kryuk, your conspiracy theories and allegations are totally unfounded, and the admins have even responded to them and given clear and concise answers for you. Just let it go.

I'm sorry to see you leave. CB is fun, don't let this ruin it for you. People around here like to get in shouting wars. If you shout that there is a conspiracy, they'll shout you're an idiot. Just let it go, and enjoy the game for what it is. Don't throw around allegations, be polite, and things will be fine. Hope to see you around.

Special J January 12 2006 1:14 AM EST

People should be allowed to say what they want....

I agree 100%, but when you turn to insulting another player I will step in and put an end to it. If you have a problem with that then by all means live with it, I am not going to change how the rules are enforced. He was not defending anyone in the edited post, he was attacking someone else.

So your point is not really a point at all. People are upset about something that has nothing to do with Pixel, so how is insulting Pixel speaking out on the injustice and tyranny that we trample your hearts out with?

Revs January 12 2006 2:18 AM EST

Seems to me the travesty has moved from who got banned for what, to who is flaming who for speaking at all, one side or the other. All this is accomplishing nothing but bringing out the dark side of everyone. The parties involved can do all the working out they need to in emails and cm's, but I for one, would like nothing more than to see the flame-fest end.

maulaxe January 12 2006 2:24 AM EST

better to be quiet and have people assume the worst,
than to speak and confirm it...
