Multi: -Shockwave- / Phyrefly (in Public Record)

Hello. I'd like to bring into light the possible multi of [Truly]Phyrefly/-Shockwave-.

I just checked both their account pages. There are a LOT of suspicious parallels going on here.

Both as of last checked:
[Truly]Phyrefly: Last login at 6:11 PM EST.
-Shockwave-: Last login at 6:11 PM EST.

Parallel dates:
[Truly]Phyrefly: Phyrefly until August 4 2005 10:26 PM EDT
-Shockwave-: A member of Carnage Blender 2 since August 4, 2005.

Clans:
[Truly]Phyrefly: Owner of clan: [Clan Whoop]
-Shockwave-: Member of clan: [Clan Whoop]

Suspicious thread of owing money... for what?

Please look at the post times. The posts happen right after another. Looks like this person logged on as one, posted, logged in as the other, posted. Twice.

Transfer IP logs:

Take into consideration there are one-sided trades. And they both spell "paid" incorrectly.

They log in at the same time, do things at the same time, like to owe money for nothing )one-sided trades), have the same IP, and can't spell the same. Multi? I think so.

Its a shame too. They're both supporter accounts.

I know both phyre and shockwave in RL.. phyre have been playing for a very long time, he started playing cb1 around may 2003. shockwave is his girlfriend, they live together and he finally convinced her to play this summer. they even made a post before making her account, and every one told them that it would be no problem that they played from the same ip as long as they did'nt make one way transfers (i dont consider a loan a one way transfer) i dont think they have done anything that Saint and MrsDi did'nt do in cb1..

It's clear that phyre played both accounts. That's against the rules.

It seems that me and my GF playing from the same IP has caused the problems we all fear.. I introduced her to the game some months ago, and she got really hooked, like i was and has been for a long time (some may remember me from CB1) ..The debt i repayed in the thread above was an old debt, as i explained to G_Bee in this CM when he asked me why i had sent shockwave money. This is the chat mail i sent him:

The Original thread dates all the way back to September 19 2005 7:54 AM EDT in (Public Record) and was called: Phyrefly/Shockwave deal.. from here it goes on to another thread from October 21 2005 4:15 PM EDT.. again in Public Record, and again called: Phyrefly/Shockwave deal .. and the 3rd and final part of the deal(s) was made on December 26 2005 7:42 PM EST in (Public Record) and was also called Phyrefly/Shockwave deal.. you can see them all in my log.. i hope this explains it, and i understand if this is cause for confusion.. the dealings have been pretty intricate :) ...Btw. Shockwave is my GF, and we live together, and therefore have the same IP. Let me know if you need more "help" figuring out the stuff.. :)

The reason for parallel login times is this: 6:11 PM EST. is the last time my computer was restarted, and after a restart it automatically opens some programs, including the browsers.

If you check the old logs you will see that there is no one-sided transfers (maybe except the odd pair of leather gloves (+3) or so.) nothing of real value!

I do believe that the misspelling is due to copy paste usage, but i cant remember the exact case, sorry.

We are indeed 2 different individuals, and i was told that it wasn't a problem playing from the same ip, as long as we both were supporters. This being said i understand the confusion, but i think that it would have been proper of you to let us answer for our actions, before deleting, banning and resetting..

It's a shame that we cant keep playing this great game, but since i have been reset and Lotte (my GF's RL name) has been deleted and/or banned neither of us will be playing, unless we can find some way of being restored. I dont want to start all over, when i have done nothing wrong, and i doubt that she will either.

I'm a bit sad about this, since i really enjoy this game, and the interactivity between players, it promotes!

I looked into this a few weeks ago when I spotted the thread for cash transactions and swapped some CMs with Phyre to discuss the reasons. The issue was never closed between us and I still had it on my "to do" list. I never discussed this with Jon.

There's a couple of reasons why Jon banned one of the accounts and reset the other. On top of the valid reasons he found I also find it a bit odd that Phyrefly being the bloke and shockwave the g/f one of Phyres previous names was "Wife Of The Phyrefly".

Anyway, I'm sure that at best they were two people with one person managing the accounts the majority of the time and at worst a single person using them to multi.

Articulate and polite as Phyre is I'm sure the action Jon took was correct.

Hey... I'm Phyre's GF, And I played as -Shockwave-. I can see why you believe Phyre was a multi, but he isn't! The name Wife of the Phyrefly is my fault! When Phyre and me Moved together I canged the name because I was using the chat and I wouldn't have the name Phyrefly, Thought I could change it back right away, I was wrong. Phyre introduced me to the game, and then we created the character -Shockwave-. Due to the deal between me and phyre... He bought some stuff from me, I didn't just give him the stuff+money. When we have been doing things at the same time, it's because I needed someone to help me with the game... My english isn't perfect. And about being in the same clan... Well, there's no reason other that it was fun, and corath was there too... (He's our friend in private).
I think it's too bad with me being band, but there's nothing I can do about it, just wanted to tell my part of the story...

If you are truly two separate people, then I send my apologies your way. However, you have to expect that since you two play on the same computer (and apparently no other computer) and you have one-sided trades with a thread not explaining the transfers, you're setting yourself (yourselves) in a suspicious position. A multi could have easily come up with the explanation you just posted, and unbanning (if possible) a multi could be dangerous.
