bloodlust (in General)

Hi!

I am considering using bloodlust, but I want some help from experienced players to advice me. I have an EEET team based on a TOE. I have some problems with TOA tank and single mages teams.

I do not use any ranged weapons.

What configuration is the best (assuming you have 200 points):
1) 100 in str, 100 in dex, 0 in bloodlust
2) 80 in str, 100 in dex, 20 in bloodlust
3) 100 in str, 75 in dex, 25 in bloodlust

Then I want to know if the solution changes when using vampirism or strength raising items.

thanks!

Your BL trained level must be atleast 1/4 of your strength trained level. Other than that try to keep your Dex further above your strength.

Option 2

I'll recommend choice #2 as well. Many say, and I agree, that DX is more important than ST. Whoever wins the DX war often gets more hits and wins.

If you use items that change your strength, say Tulkas Gauntlets for example, it will show you on the main page what your ST is at. Just remember to keep your Bloodlust at 1/4 your strength, which shows as maximum effect of (.75).

Just to comment on your team, I'm not sure what I would recommend. With 4 minions, you'll definitely have a hard time keeping up with ToA tanks, even with your EC. A small VA definitely wouldn't hurt, just don't put too much XP into it since it could be dispelled a lot.

Good luck with whatever you end up going with.

Bloodlust has to be trained to 25% of your effective ST.

so when using Giant Strength you will need to compensate for this

Someone correct me if I say something wrong, but...

DrAcO5676: Your BL trained level must be at least 1/4 of your strength
Vaynard: keep your Bloodlust at 1/4 your strength
Shade: Bloodlust has to be trained to 25% of your effective ST

This all suggests that BL only works at full effect (1/4 of ST), but BL can also be trained to a lesser part to work. If you only train to an effect of 0.5 you will gain extra damage of 50%.

You are correct ShadowSparkle.

Biggest problem you'll have is the PTH of the ToA tanks. As a RoE tank myself, there's not a lot around it except DB's (large ones) and Evasion. So keep that in mind when you pick BL over Evasion.
