I fought Pixel Sage a few times during bonus xp time.
One of the award results is below, they were all similar in size and amount.
You are awarded $4 and your Minions receive 5 exp each. Clan bonus: 15.0%.
Here also are the details on the inspect page of PixelSage.
Score / PR / MPR: 1,014,733 / 734,123 / 517,053
Now, I am seriously confused why I only gained 5 exp per minion when I won the fight AND it was crazy xp time AND I was getting 100 to 200 exp per battle from my other opponents.
Ideas? Explanations?

Someone probably fought him just before you did.

Someone probably fought him and lost just before you did.
You only finished him off, thus you got smaller rewards.

You likely had a few of those.
Dogs of War killed all but one minion and they you finished the job before autohealing took effect. Since you only killed one minion, you get crappy xp.
