Give me a reason (in Contests)

Give me a reason you wake up. It can be stupid or personal or whatever. If you feel its too personal you can cm me. Whichever i find funnier/ more meaningful wins 50k. Not alot of money to bare your heart for but you can always just bull your way through it. Good luck guys/gals. One per person.

Simply to talk and see and be with the people i love.

If you stay asleep, you'll be trapped into watching the Tom Arnold and Roseanne Barr mating ritual (from back when they were married, of course).

Cause it gets light outside and my sleeping cap doesn't quite cover my eyes?

Is that a serious question? Really, for anyone who is reading this, the only possible reason for waking up is to play CB; to burn as much BA as possible in the day.

To unconsciously turn off the annoying alarm clock and fall back into bed... happens EVERY morning.

It beats the alternative... most of the time.

So I can spend another day wondering why I got out of bed?

I get up in the morning because if I didn't you'd all die, not sure how or why but I'm absolutly positive that without my constant supervision the world would collapse...

The truth? In the simplest terms. Dream food often leaves my in wanting. Occasionally my mind decides to order out.

Why do I wake up in the morning?

In the past few days i have wondered this myself, what keeps anyone going?
Is it the passion of two lovers? the loathing of two haters? or what?

Well, I went to the streets to find out.

the only reason i sleep is to refresh myself for the next day of trying to find out why i woke up...

I dont wake up, *snore* i have the *snore* ability to sleep *snore* and play *snore* at the same *snore* ... *snore*

Coffee and Pop Tarts. Sometimes Cap'n Crunch. Then, since I'm up anyways, I might as well finish the day :)

Uncertainty

The reason to wake up is you cannot be certain about what will happen. The more you invest into uncertainty the more chance you have for it to occur.

It could be the best, worst, happiest, or saddest day you will ever have, but if you are not awake for it, you will miss it.

Just waking up, increases uncertainty, but leaving the house, or spending money on a chance gives you even more chance to meet you new soul mate or to meet your maker. So go invest in some uncertainty today!

Why do I wake up? Because I have to report to the overseer in the "coal mine" that is my soul crushingly dull job in order earn a few pennies to pay the freaking bills. :P

I wake up in the morning, because I appreciate that I can. Why? Because I believe that one day eventually, I won't be able to wake up (death) and that I won't be able to see and be with the one/s that I love and care however much I tried.

And that, my friend, will be the greatest shame, so i shall awaken this day, because I'm not sure if I will be able to tomorrow. But if so, I can look back and know that I spent my time well, and have no regrets because I did what I could, when I could. :)

I wake up because I am compelled to help others enjoy and find the meaning in their lives, as that is the meaning for mine.

Because my disgruntled and irritable bowels are forcing me to get out from under the oh so perfect temperature covers, to once again go forth and lay down some serious and disturbing bowl thunder, followed quickly by even more disturbing bowl splatter. The relief is enormous, the stench is all encompassing. It's not long before I here the plaintive wail from my beloved wife.
" Honeeey !!!....flush....pleeeeaassseee!!" she sleepily exclaims. How she puts up with me I'll never know. At this point the cats won't even enter the room......

I get up in the morning for my family. For my Husband who loves me endlessly for my son who struggles through the night to live, For my other two children, to keep life as normal as possible. To love them as much as I can for as long as I can.

I get up each morning because I can. For a simple human, time is not guaranteed. Every minute you sleep, is another minute wasted in what could be a very short life. Live is to be lived and every second should be treasured as if it were the last. In the next 20 minutes, you could step off a corner and be hit by a bus, ending your life instantly, so why waste any of your precious moments sleeping? Every morning I wake up is another morning in which I know I am alive. Maybe I won't wake up the next morning, but I will at least have woken up for this one, ready to face and experience the world.

I wake up every morning, in the simple hopes, that today, will not be a repeat of the things I should learn from in the past. Perhaps today is my day, to find my purpose, to enlighten someones day. If I make someone smile, or think more on something, that makes their own life seem worth living. Then I have found my daily purpose.

All I ask, is that I effect atleast on person a day. It's what keeps me going. Granted, my life isn't the best. But if I believe that my own meaning of life, is to help others along the way, to whom they are supposed to be, then ... getting up that morning, was well worth it, and tomorrow, should only be better. As tomorrow, I will wake up with a smile on my face, knowing yesterday, I made a change, and today, could only be better.
