Celebrations in order (in Off-topic)
Out of the 6 Universities I have applied to 5 have offered me a place to study with them each with differing conditions considering my final grades.
I shall soon be replying to these offers by narrowing them down to a firm choice and an insurance choice(in case I don't meet the firms choices grades).
I now propose everyone raise their glasses in celebration of a wonderful day :)

Yay! Congratulations, man!
Am I missing something? Where is "university" spelled incorrectly?
plural of University is universities so I see no spelling error on my behalf =/
Thanks a lot SNK3R, I shall follow in your footsteps :P
Thanks Sut, I didn't think I was going senile just yet :)

Well done! I guess you'll not have enough time to CB once you're a fresher - so that gives you, what 8 months to get to the top before cheap bars and all the associated pleasures of being at Uni get in the way!
*raises several glasses*!

BTW, what are you going to study?
No problem Haterz. Bristol will be my firm choice so I agree that there will be many nights I wont be able to work my computer properly although I will still play as much as they let me :P
Accounting and Finance.
/me waits for all the groans before they all fall asleep

Congratulations Zog :)
does that mean less cb time?
Congrats, Zog!
You won't need to rely too heavily on correct usage of the apostrophe in possessives, so you should do splendidly. ;)
not for a while yet, I'm still doing my A Level course and Uni wont be starting until September/October time plus most of the first year should be mostly what I'm doing now, more CB+more partying=more fun for Zoggie :)
D'oh! I apologise for the reduction in quality of my English Bast.
/me prays for forgiveness.
You know I could almost see you as being a strict teacher with a cane back when it was legal :P

Don't start with talk like that Zog. Some people might like the sound of that.... ;)
Let us all hope that PK does not stumble across this thread, with his recent talk regarding Bast I would hate to see his next comment.

Accounting and Finance? The more people working in that (boring, boring, boring, ...) field, the less of it I have to do. Congrats!

Nice! Now I'll be lucky if I made it into one university I applied to (4 total). Doesn't really matter anyways, my eyes are set on Art Institute in San Francisco, and I've already got in... now I need to find a way to pay for it
i'm only a junior and i have my eyes set on Cornell ^^
:) That's great! :D
I bummed my A levels, but for some reason my uni accepted me unconditionally. :) I was taking pure maths though! ;)
I went to Brighton, there are 7 bars on campus! :D
My cousin is an acountant, hard work, very hard work for a couple of years after uni, but a lot of pay...
My sis is some kind of acturist / financial adviser, although I'm not too sure what she actually does... ;)
Spelling? Who needs spelling? :P
Congratulations Zogus!
Do engineering! ^_^ Spelling takes little or no precedence when it comes to our field! (sounds a bit troublesome seeing as some of us actually make spell checkers...;))
Oh yes and congrats man! Keep up the good work and all the doors to a great future will remain wide open! =)
I'm doing Maths at A Level which is hell enough, Further Pure just isn't going to happen :P.
Engineering just doesn't interest me the way numbers do and I feel I would do much better in this field.
Wow GL I wish I could have been accepted unconditionally, even Plymouth gave me conditions of 200 points after getting A,B,C,C at AS =/.
I was given entry conditions, which I then missed. :( I was then slightly confused when my Uni sent me an unconditional entry, I even spoke to my college about it who told me point blank "You don't have the legal requirement to go to university, that letter of entry is a mistake, bin in. You're not going."
When I finally got through to speak to my Uni, thay told me it was totally unconditional, and I could go if I wanted... Shows what my college knew... (They also refused to enter my sisters UCAS form until she removed Oxford and Cambridge from it, as there was absolutly no chance she could go there! She was a straight A student and got into her 'new' first choice instantly...)
:/
Strange!
I have a friend who has been offered a conditional place at Oxford and Cambridge yet has been rejected by Manchester, shows how things go.
