Tattoo Leveling Question (in General)

I know tattoos level when you fight and train do they gain levels when somebody attacks you as well like when you are off line?

Tattoos do not level when you fight. They do gain XP at the same times your minions gain XP; they do level when you do train, and on some other times (whenever server restarts for example).

This is not correct bartjan. I train only once a day, but my tattoo grow some times a day, every day.

Do you even need to wear the tattoo in combat? Can you just equip it when you train, and then take it off?

Or does it gain exp like any minion, but only "trains itself" when the minion it is attached to trains?

If you don't equip it when you fight (or win in defense), your tattoo will not gain any exp and stay at the same level.

It only gains XP when used in battle. Or else people could level several tattoos at the same time ;)

Tattoos autolevel when the gain a certain amount of xp.

For tattoos under 500k it is 250 levels worth of xp.

For tattoos over 500k it is 1000 levels worth of xp.

They will autolevel when you hit the Home button if they have gained enough xp.

It's nice to know we won't see any more posts from Ranger on why his obscenely high tattoo isn't levelling any more. ;)
