hehe, want to show the world you're a PROUD CBer!? ;)
Well now that we have CB2 I think it would be a good idea to get a new batch.
the problem with the t-shirts are that only american ppl can get them, i want a t-shirt but im a belg so i cant get 1 unless someone wanne me mail me 1
I'd be willing to mail overseas as long as the buyer was willing to pay the actual shipping cost and send money to my PayPal account. I try and help out with these community issues when I can ..

Wrong, Angel of Death.
When Jon did the CB T-shirts in CB1, he said: "To order, paypal $10 for an XL or $11 for an XXL to jonathan@carnageblender.com, or email that address for snail mail instructions. Add $4 for shipping to North America or $9 for anywhere else in the world."

XL and XXL? There's a lot of small people here I'm sure!
But yea, i don't think i joined in time for the T-Shirts... Sad to say.
T-shirts heck yeah i want one this is a great idea.
and I also agree about the sizes ...
/me needs a medium - large ...
snk i don't have a CC so there is another problem for me, ill just ask someone to buy 1 for me and to mail it and ill give him cb2 cash

You don't need a CC for paypal. A bank account also works.

which is also a possibility AoD, obviously.
It's not like someone here couldn't make them (this means you $US spenders) and sell them for $CB...

Jonathan is busy knitting me a sweater and a pair of mittens but after that maybe he can start on your dumb T-shirts.
My sweater is going to say "CB Ombudsman" on the front in rainbow font!!!

Only XXL? I need a 5X at least.
I would like one too. Very cool idea.

If I had time and the community would like it, I could try setting up something with cafepress, though the overall price may be a bit high... not sure. Let's see... I think its $8 for a T-shirt with only a design on the front, plus $4 s/h.... Not terribly high I guess.

well I guess now we can wait to See if Jon thinks much of this . Even if only like 10 or 15, 20 people maybe wants one, we can do something...We could have a baseball cap too :) ...sure wish someone would post a pic. of their r CB T shirt here so we can have a looksee :)

Unless it's a longsleeve, or black .. I dun wear it .. so, black longsleeve, I'm in, for probly a couple.
The last ones were a black short-sleeve IIRC.
They had the Carnage Blender and I think the logo on the front and the name of all those who bought one on the back.
Good for trying Pixel but I think we should leave it until Jon wants to do one so we can keep the previous professional look while also keeping those costs down to help us Europeans with that incredible $9 shipping.

Oh, and to be more specific: They were white and short-sleeved.

Few names on that shirt I haven't seen for ages.

I have one those shirts too, but I gotta say, I'd much rather have a Hat this time then another T-Shirt..

*agrees with Verifex*
I skipped the shirts last time because I wanted a hat more. Much rather see hats this time as well.

February 19 2006 7:44 PM EST
How would you put all the player names on a hat?
PirateKing
February 19 2006 7:50 PM EST
You are assuming that I want a name other than my own on a hat?

February 19 2006 7:52 PM EST
O, in that case, forget what I said. ;)

Wouldn't want any other players' names other than mine on boxers either. :P

GPV could that be taken as un-pg?

If you have a CB hat, perhaps you could put just your name on rather than everyone that buys a hat. Not only that, you could do beanie hats aswell as baseball caps.

February 19 2006 10:26 PM EST
only if you've got your mind in the gutter, YNM :-P
heh, i didn't even catch on to that until you pointed it out....
Haha wow Vestax that was really dirty.
Definitely un-PG to me. But I don't care because it was funny.

I'm okay with pixel (or anyone else who wants to do the whole labor of love thing) putting something up on cafe press as long as he's not taking a commission on it, i.e., sells it at the minimum CP cost. Just put something like "Carnage Blender is copyright 2006 by Jonathan Ellis. Used with permission" on the site.
I'm not really interested in doing another official shirt myself. The 2003 shirt (a) was a _lot_ of work and (b) generated even more whining than I expected. ("I'd rather have a hat! Why isn't there a Small size! I don't like the design! I'm offended that it says 'violence' on the back! I want a color shirt but I'm not willing to pay extra for it!" etc.)
In other words, something that should have been fun, wasn't.

As to be expected.
I won't whine, but it would be a hassle for me to buy a shirt. I would have to find a friend with PP or something. ALTHOUGH, if there WAS a black shirt, I would purchase one, as long as it was under 30 usd.

I've stayed out of this thread until now, to see if Jonathan would sanction the idea or not. Since he has (sort-of), I have a friend who owns a screen printing shop (and I've designed shirts with him before). I'll talk to him about pricing (hopefully at a discount) and see where it goes from there.
Maybe if a friendly Admin (or anyone with the power to do so) could make a poll to A) find out real interest and b) find out majority preference for t-shirt or baseball cap :)
My disclaimer: Chances are that all choices involved would be very limited - you can't please all the people all of the time, and I'd never even consider trying. This is in no way a commitment to take this project on, but simply an offer to look into "what's involved" to better make that decision later on.
BM - nice work already! I can't help much except with providing what I'd like ... but I'll wait for a poll ... I like how that sounds ..
/me would like a black shirt (size large) .. logo and all are not as important .. popular vote wins :)
QBPixel Sage
February 21 2006 5:55 PM EST
If BM's screening thing doesn't work out, I'd be happy to do cafepress (which means unlimited quantities and products).

The only bad thing for Jon not doing it is the product of a virtual item. Man, I had like 3 or 4 of those stocked away on CB1. :)
