When did you all decide to upgrade from 1 minion to two?

300k MPR is a good benchmark

Most of the FB mages that were single minions picked about 1/2 the top MPR to add the 2nd minion. Now that would be about 650-700k MPR.

If your a FB mage, you need to let your FB get as large as possible before diluting your xp from that specific minion.

If your a tank, then you can add another minion basically whenever you feel like.

Just remember as a single minion character, your cost to add minions goes up quite fast as your MPR goes up.

IE, Cosmos, who was a 2 minion character just spent somewhere around 13 million CB2 to add the 3rd minion.

It depends on what sort of strategy you want. I personally find that working with a single FB mage is boring, so I hire a tank pretty early - after 100k MPR. This also means that my tank is about the same power as my mage, in the long run.

Also, be sure to have some good equipment ready for your second minion, whenever you decide to hire it. If it's a tank, it'll be useless without some rare armour and weapons.

For the third and forth minions, it's probably best to put off hiring them for quite a while, unless you have a very specific strategy planned out, with equipment ready for them.

My plan is: E with DM/AS (that will be the second minion, of course) to cushion my FBM and ToE with (someday when I'm rich) AGs, a CORN, and DBs. Also, I'd like to have a back-up FF of a decent level to stand in when I'm in trouble or forging in the BS.
