how is the ToE damage reduction calculated? any info on this?
Especially I'd like to know whether it reduces % or absolute damage.
(like e.g. 100k lvl ToE reduces always 30k damage, or reduces always 30% damage or whatever)

It's a fixed amount based on the level of your tattoo. It's somehwere around 10% for damage and 5% for AMF backlash. This reduction is capped at 75% of the damage done to you.
