Ive tried everything it wont install the files it just ceases up at like 12 bars for the cabinet files i would like to know if theres anyway you guys could help(if you have had similar problems) or if a older java mite work

java 1.42 should work and the latest 1.5 version.
use the ones from sun, not from microsoft.

Make sure you uninstall any old versions of Java on your computer before installing the newest one.
When it stops installing, do you get some error?

Most people that do know a lot about computer, do not have psychic powers. Those that do have psychic powers often don't know much about computers. That's why it's important, for computer problems, to provide as much information as possible.
What version of Java did you try to install, and from where?
In what way did it not install?
