Some simple cb1 stats (in Off-topic)

I miss making my econ reports and so have been quietly recording data for the last few months with the idea of starting my posts again. After a while I realized that some of you stats-hounds might like to dig a little deeper than a simple weekly/quarterly report. So I put together a little site to display historical CB stats. At the moment, it only contains cb1 data from 2004. Please feel free to have a look.

This is still in it's alpha stages and the server itself is heavily loaded with other sites. So please be gentle.

I welcome suggestions for improvement, though you should be aware that I already have a lot of ideas and a fairly long to-do list.
Like:

  • getting cb2 data up
  • expanding the sorts of data you can access... like the trending numbers I've been calculating, clan stats, and some other stuff
  • interface improvements
  • graphing
  • etc., etc., etc.

Oh, man! Oh, man! I'm so excited!! I totally loved reading these things on CB1. I cannot wait!

Glad to hear it. I was never sure how much people really cared about the reports before.

In any case, have fun poking around my little site. I hope to have something better soon.

Very nice SUkotto, I look forward to seeing the improvements on your to-do list implemented.

I too also liked the weekly stats reports.

I'm sure we could work something out Shade if you want to donate hosting. something for us to discuss offline if you're interested (you can use the email in my profile)

I use mysql and php (standard libraries only) and SCP/SFTP for updating the files.

I would also like commandline access since I like to fiddle with my directories and DB using text.

not sure how I can 'share' access to the server, but the hosting is currently paid completely by me, 50 mb webspace + 1 gb data transfer per month.

i can use PHP and also my sql if i recall correctly, you could perhaps just send me files every time you'd need an update and i could upload it asap then
