Chat dead? (in General)

i got ping timeout reconnecting.. refreshed and now it's stuck on:

Chat Blender 3.1.7 starting...

When the chat window was loading it said it was loading from the google thing Timberwolf was talking about. I never downloaded it so I'm guessing its on the server or something

The problems I was having with the google-analytics should have no wide spread effect on chat like this.
Verifex nailed it earlier when he said my problem was, I finally reached the threshold of Java I could run at one time.
I have the google-analytics script disabled and cannot get to chat either, so I highly doubt that has anything to do with it.

ahhhhhhhh the apocalypse is here....

I don't know anything about why chat is screwed up, but what I would like to know is why AKBuz wishes he was his sister?!?

There's this "Restart the chat server" that full admins can push in cases of emergency ('now' sounds like a good time). Problem is that the admin page containing that button won't load right now (browser is still loading it for 10+ minutes, with nothing to show this far). Maybe it won't load because it first checks how many users are in chat right now, and that page is also waiting (very patiently) for the chat server to provide that answer?

Anyway, it sounds like we have to wait for Jon on this one.

Oh, great. Full admin + Restart chat server button + the page containing the button hardly even loading = possible bad stuff to happen on the server. Just great.

Chat not loading = more 'Blending, not less, and a ten-fold spike in CMs.

Would like to take this time and ask Seran and Shadowking to go to carnage when the chat server comes back. Sandy I know you have been there, but when I'm still telling you to stay there seems we've lost our understanding. Maybe this post will finally push the overstated point. Both can come back if/when there is a question to be answered and leaving promptly afterwards. Names to put on the imaginary np watch list would be scy(false info) Agoth, Someb, and Skc. Don't need to give the whole names if you're in the know. All have been given the requested move at different times, for the right reasons given what was happening at the time. All of you which are bored to tears and giving their parents something to ph34r. Believe I interrupted a midnight pg session between agoth and someb the other night since only bart was alive and afk if this helps convey a veiw. Not to be taken as seriously as stated.
