And glad to be! >_<
Our holiday was a strain, and Claire and I are so disappointed.
It was nothing to do wih our holiday itself, the tour operator, appartment and location were all brilliant. Mallorca (just for Dolphin! :P) is beautiful. We stayed on the east coast (Cala Bona) away from the usual tourist spots and would have had a wonderful time.
But, after a couple of hours at the resort, I came down with something. It was terrible! Not to be too graphic, but there were violent explosions from both ends of my body... For five days... I could keep water down only if I sipped it, but anything more came straight back out again.
Claire was struck down the day after, but didn't suffer as badly as I did.
In the end, we got two days out of the seven we could actually leave our room and do things. :( We missed so much, but did manage to go on a couple of lovely trips.
To make things worse, our bathroom had no ventilation...

We're resolved to go back at some time, and have the holiday we wanted, we didn't spend too much money and I've lost a bit of weight (my jeans are so baggy now!) so it wasn't all bad.
But not the trip away we wanted.
It's great to be back (I'm still feeling somewhat under the weather), especially to find out I've been honoured with becoming QB!
(I suppose this is my 'WooT I'm QB' post!)
Back to fighting!
