yea...
i was thinking it would reduced direct damage by 3-5% per attack. Similar to an axbow/exbow but to reduce mage effect.

Tanks just took a nice nerf from the recent PL. I say why not think about having a Istari Crossbow? It prolly wont happen but wasnt a bad idea.

I am also in agreement that with the addition of PL tanks NEED something to make up for losing 2/3 rare ranged weapons. I mean... ouch.

MgS and AMF are already two large nerfs on mages. Both of them block a LARGE percentage of magic damage, and AMF even retaliates with the mages' own power. CoC can't hit in ranged, FB hits allies, and MM is weaker and doesn't strike in first ranged round. Physical attacks, however, can hit up to 3 times every single round, and weapons like the MH makes the attacker gain HP from the attacks!

Has anyone thought maybe Jon's changes that put nerfs on tanks means he believes that its the TANKS that are too strong?

MM now hits in the first round of ranged.

I don't see anything as being particularly overpowered ATM, I have to keep pouring nearly all my xp into FB or I lose, CoC folks still have to have some HP, and MM users need a nice balanced team.

Tanks still have a huge number of choices, and can easily specialize in mage killing. I don't see the problem, certainly not to the point where we need a XBoI. If this were to be introduced a x10 version should have a NW of around 20 mil.
