Has anyone seen Saw & Saw II (in Off-topic)

Well, i recently saw (haha) both of them again and it got me to think. Is Dr. Gordon still alive? Will he come back in Saw III?

yes

I haven't. But I like to play on a seesaw.

i was hoping to start a conversation...by only saying yes it pretty much ends the thread right then and there.

He's definitely gone.. But the girl, and her new apprentice will definitely return!

Mem April 18 2006 11:32 PM EDT

He's dead. I'm not sure all his fancy mind tricks can cure cancer.

The director of Saw II went to the same school I go to. I'm not really into horror though.

A Bathing Ape April 18 2006 11:33 PM EDT

remember the surgery scene at the beginning of saw II? can that limping person be the doctor?

A Bathing Ape April 18 2006 11:34 PM EDT

(Dr. Gordon is the person who was chained to the pipes in saw I with Adam. Dont mistake him for Jigsaw)

Mem April 18 2006 11:40 PM EDT

Oh. Cary Elwes' character? I don't see why he wouldn't be alive, but what bearing on the story would he have? It just wouldn't make sense to bring him back into it, especially with them already bringing a former victim back into the fray. Basically, what happened after he cut his leg off is irrelevant. It was the fact that he did cut it off that was important.

P.S. Mr. Elwes is a horrid over-acter. Why would you want him in any movie aside from Robin Hood: Men In Tights?

A Bathing Ape April 18 2006 11:43 PM EDT

well i've never seen him in any other movies but you do know that the movie was filmed without rehearsals or anything... the bathroom scenes were done in 6 days so that pretty much means they were done on the first take.

Such are the limitations of the horror genre...

Cary Elwes was in perhaps the best movie of all time:

The Princess Bride.

If you have not seen it, I would suggest logging off CB2, go to Best Buy and get a copy. Put it in the DVD player and do not do anything else till you have seen it.

As per Saw: It is unlike he lived. If he did, then he certainly would have brought the police back to the bathroom which would have led them through the house. Since that did not happen (the police knowing about the house and bathroom), one can hopefully assume that the good doctor died and Jigsaw/his apprentice disposed of the body.

The girl is definately (not spelled right? If it is, it's not in spell check) going to be the next Dr. Gordon.
