Anyone here use Ebay??

I want to get my brother something because he's moving out, and I have never used Ebay and I'm just wondering if anyone can vouche for it?

I've purchased 7 items from ebay and I have absolutely no complaints towards it. I have received my items in perfect working order, and in good time, every time.

I've used it since '98 I think. Back then it was only in the US, and I was bidding on items as a foreigner. Paid most of the items by changing Dutch cash at the bank for US$ and sending that in an envelope to the seller. One time I even got $0.10 change packed together with the item ;)

eBay works with feedback scores. Make sure that the seller's feedback score is high enough.

eBay justifies the existence of the internet. :)

Hmmm, another thing, is it possible... hmm, this is going to get weird, for someone to buy something for me, and then they have it sent to my address??

And I would pay full in either CB or USD with paypal, and maybe extra for being nice =D

C me or post here with any information, thank you.

When completing a purchase on eBay, you have the option of specifying an alternate delivery address.

It has happened before on CB that people bought items on eBay for others, as payment for deals made here.

Awesome, now I need to find someone haha

Should be just about as difficult as finding a US$ buyer. Recruitment, however, should be done in FS/WTB.

Sorry Bast, CB justifies the existance of the internet.
