OK, I have been a little out of the loop as far as new players are concerned, which is why I am putting out this feeler thread. Basically I have put together (FINALLY) a complete set of base rares (minus the ranged rares). This includes base:
Adam
Shadow cloak
CML
HG
HoD
MS
Katana
compound bow or H xbow
You get 102 AC and no PR gain, no matter your PR. If you are just starting out, this can give you a massive lift on your peer group competition. So my idea was to set up 1 hour loans of the complete set to deserving new players. The 1 hour is because after one hour of playing, the gear will have a lot less impact on the peer group. So my feeler is really more so for the Mentors. Do you guys think that a) it would be worth the effort to try and coordinate 1 hour loans, and b) if it is worth the effort, that you can find enoug interested people to justify the effort.
Also any input into the system is welcome. This is a feeler thread and any and all suggestions on how to better work this is welcome. If you have any questions about what is involved, look at N00B Mk II. He has everything except the base katana.
