Ladies and gentlemen of the carnage blender community I would like to shed some light on a bit of stupidity on my part but a huge atrocity committed by one of our fellow blenders. The blender I speak of is Dudley_Dotson. On March 24 he and I made a bet in chat concerning a game of cribbage Edyit and I was to play. The bet was initially was my corn VS his (Dudley's) corn. Dudley bet on Edyit. The bet was made partially in CB chat carnage and concluded in the cribbage chat room, in which Edyit can vouch for the agreement. Edyit lost that game by a long shot (Skunked). Thus the initial bet was my win. Dudley's corn as my prize. Returning to CB chat he offered another bet. My recently won corn (which I never received) against his AG's & his Coi. Once again bouncing between chats it was verified in and out of cb chat and finalized in the cribbage chat. Edyit again can verify. This game was super close and I was victorious by 2 points (thank god for dealer counts last). Thus at this point I am owed a Corn, AG's, and a Coi. Edyit and I having finished out game return to cb chat to see Dudley swearing that Edyit won and he owed me nothing. I won the games thus the prizes are mine. Edyit will post a vouch for his loss against me. I sent Dudley a CM stating that I won and that the items belong to me, and that when he receives the CM I expect said items... to no avial i have neither recieved items nor response. Dudley I have given you the opportunity to do the honest thing and you have not thus. I call you out and expose you for the false, deal breaking, bad gambling self that you are as you have not paid your dues. People of CB take heed when dealing with people such as this. And remember PR post is your best friend. Dudley is not.

I have a loan with Dudley right now. This is bad news for me. In the case that he can not fulfill his bets, I am wondering if he will even pay back loans. I have sent him a CM stating that (as agreed in the PR) he must pay me back 300k by the end of Saturday, or I will have no mercy and request for his account to be reset.

Well, if I may shed some light.. You should've made a PR, if you had you would have a corn, AG's, and a CoI sittin on one of your characters, or Dudley would be reset. But you didn't, that's your fault, he doesn't have to pay, as you hopefully know. Dudley isn't doing anything wrong except for being morally.. 'cruel', I suppose.. Get over it though, you made the mistake, not him.

As I believe someone made in a previous thread burried somewhere, deals can also be made through CMs and are valid through them (since I believe admins have the abilities to read them). I may be wrong at this point, but it is merely something I read in a past thread.

bLaCkaXiuM, I do not believe this is a matter of who made a mistake. The mistake is obviously on Pretty Dotson's part, since Dudley chosing not to fulfill an agreement is a purposeful action. The issue is straightforward - Dudley not fulfilling his part of the deal. If you encourage Pretty Dotson just to simply "Get over it", you're indirectly encouraging Dudley to continuing shaming people.

* I believe Pretty Dotson on this issue, so I am typing with the assumption that Dudley is doing what Pretty has been explaining. If Dudley hasn't, then I'm sorry. Unless Dudley can fully prove his actions valid and correct, I will assume he is not innocent.

what is this? are you trying to say that a verbal agreement doesnt count? this is like two people placing a bet and when one loses he says "oh, we didn't shake hands; therefore, the bet doesnt count." You made an agreement so you should pay up. Its [dumb] how people try to get the other out of it by saying "you didn't make a pr thread"

A verbal agreement which is confirmed by a 3rd party = legal imo.

I'd also like to comment, that if Dudley's brother was playing cb, how would he enter Dudley's yahoo account and sit and watch a good part of the cribbage game, as well as involve himself in his own game of cribbage. What next " my little bro is a crib playing champ?" as the Dudley who was in the yahoo chat obviously knew how to play and throw around suggestions.

Okay Pixel, well just consider more than you did, since I supposively didn't. If I'm encouraging Dudley to 'shame', make bets, and then not fulfill them, more people by telling Pretty Dotson that what she did was a mistake, which it was, as you said, then that's a pity. Because Pretty Dotson, by making this post, is returning the same courtesy that Dudley had for her.

Dear black if one with such elegant words such as yourself was to read between the lines a bit more. I stated yes i was at fault for not making a PR thread. That this thread was to call him out to do what any moral/non multi/ ethical person would do. Pay up on a bet. As stated in my first posting I DID say i failed to make a pr post. Now going back to shades response that a agreement of words requires three people... Me, Dudley, Edyit. I have that covered. I have the chat that the deals were begun and attempted to finish befor they were moved to the cribbage game chat. The cribbage chats can be vouched for by Edyit as he was there and acknoledged the deal/bet made between Dudley and I. Now Black, if also read the lines this thread is made to warn others of Dudleys failure to pay his debts as well as to ensure such deals would find their way to PR's. So feel free to continue to flame, and state who is wrong and who is right. Shade has taken the situation into his hands which i thank him greatly. Pixel, good luck, hopefully we both are taken care of as we both should be. And to all others who happen to run across this post. Enjoy the witty banter.

Elegant? Why thank you. My point was only that you neglected to make a PR, which immediately puts you at fault. I believed CB doesn't achknowledge deals outside of PR/CM?, but as Shade has said, apparently deals witnessed by a third party are accepted, so I'm sorry for wasting the space. And although you say that the post was made without any intention to call Dudley out, on any basis other than him paying you, is hard to believe.. Just read over your primary post, it's obvious. But, I am surely done, as Shade has dealt with any problem I had other than that. :)

Indeed NightStrike Dudley does own the Corn and AG's which he bought for $45 from Mountain Man and the CoI which he bought for 1.4mil from Blondebabygirl12

For all who were scammed by dudley making a post in the public record fund. I will then see if the fund can make reparations (sp?). Don't CM me please. I find cming annoying for some reason lately and don't respond very often. Just post in thread or talk to me in chat if you see me.
