Weird Clan Score behaviour (in General)

OK, so I've started my singleton clan.
Been doing alright, but at the minute I'm negative due to not being on last night.

Question is:

My Net score is -71, and this has been adjusted to -78. Surely the adjustment should *Add* to your score rather than just be a multiplier?

Apologies if I picked this up wrongly, but I assumed it was to have some kind of handicapping system that helped those without a full complement.
Is it a bug or have I just misunderstood?

Score / raw score: -80 / -73

This score is multiplied based on your MPR and the MPR of the top 5 characters. This score bonus also is 10% maximum.

I assume that since the score is negative that the clan couldn't receive bonus anyway... Has a clan with a negative score ever received bonus? If not, then it probably doesn't matter a whole lot which direction the multiplying sends the Net Score...

A clan with negative score can receive a clan bonus when it is wacky time.

then a number of non top clans gain a small bonus :)

also, when having a negative bonus from having too few clan points, the bonus you receive over your clan points, will instead become a penalty also.

One way to limit the number of singletons eh?
But Sutekh's right - generally it doesn't make that much difference

Same thing happens when you are using a ranged weapon in melee, if your DX is negative because of Ethereal Chains.
