shade does not like ultima_spock (in Off-topic)

i have just been fined by shade because i was debating if it was normal to forum ban a bathing ape.

shade is claiming that i am trolling. does not know the meaning of such a word.

anyway i am not surprised to be fined by shade. recently i posted a message in a thread from edyit because he was complaining about a debt from scytale and i was disagreeing with edyit because the debt did not have a time limit.

shade answered to me by saying that i was putting my head where it should not go, or something like this.

i will not list every message i posted, but numerous times shade answered to them quite harshly, since January.

i am playing this game since October and i never insulted anybody, i have always been polite, and i even submitted a few idea to improve this game i enjoy.

however i do disagree with other players on a few subject. is this trolling?

I think you're going to get in trouble again for your post, though I understand completely why you made it; frankly, I think you're right. I've noticed an odd number of posts from the administration about you, and they don't seem justified.

However, the administration around here does quite a bit that doesn't seem justified. If you highlight it, they fine you, kick you, censure you, or ban you. If you make public your displeasure towards an admin, you get raped for it (despite the fact that you are simply answering publicly the public displeasure the admin has voiced towards you). Apparently, the unspoken rules* on this topic dictate that while an admin can publicly flog you, you are supposed to quietly address it in a CM. I imagine this protects the "image" of the administrator.

* Most of the administration's rules are "unspoken" and extremely subjective. You generally find out that an action is "wrong" after you or someone else gets into trouble. Also, what's wrong can vary from admin to admin, so you need to discover each's individual pet peeves.

Was i trolling when i said that matrim was too serious?

I do not think I was trolling when i asked whetever it was correct or not to forum ban a bathing ape.

I was agreeing with a bathing ape in its original post, and i was defending him. I was not vehement and my post was very polite.

Nevertheless i was fined and the thread was closed.

I am older than most of you. I am member of many forums.

6 or 7 years ago i decided to be a member of the forum of liberation, a french newspaper. A red one, if you understand me. True communist. You cannot be more communist than them.

My messages were edited or deleted at will be the admins. I decided to leave. There was a true censorship there.

And i do believe this is becoming the same here. You cannot criticize admins, you cannot criticize the game.

I do not understand why a bathing ape was forum banned and i do not understand why i have been fined when defending a bathing ape.

If i ask a question about an admin's decision, i believe that the other will understand that i do not understand the admin's decision. Since the othes know i am old and experienced, in fact i believe that they will understand that this means that i am against the admin's decision ...Is it clear?

We've all seen admin choices that looked arbitrary and maybe even unfair, but the line in the sand concerning argument over punishment is there to allow admins to be able to still play the game and live a life. I think you can grok that NSFY really doesn't want the ombudsman job that badly...If every fine is publicly debated in the forum we might as well stop playing. I've trolled here more than almost anyone (I'm looking at you Sut) and the rules are not made up as they go along, there is a clear level of respect that is asked for, and it's nessesary.

Spock, shade doesn't likely really feel anything towards ya, sure your comment in edyit thread got a response, it was designed to, quit complaining.

But do you honestly think that if Jonathan himself gives someone a forum ban that that person doesn't deserve it?

A bathing ape rightfully deserves the forum ban he received, mostly because he didn't so much complain about the game, but more because of exactly what he said.

He took such an attitude towards the other people in the game, telling tall tales about doom and the ending of carnage blender. Also saying such a thread has ended without being an admin is just plain stupid and deserves a fine at least imo.



About the money fine I 'gave' you: giving rise to such a topic as the banning of a player isn't the job of a normal player. If an admin wished to make a public thread about a player being banned, then that's his job. If a player makes a thread about such a topic, it is (or at least in my eyes) seen as an opportunity for flaming, trolling and bad talking about either that person or the admin who did the banning.



Also you should read a lot better than you have done so far I think:

A bathing ape wasn't banned from the game, he is banned from posting in the forums. Your thread name and initial post imply that he was banned entirely from the game.

The other thread you are talking about is also something. Edyit is letting people, and mostly adming, know that scytale still owes him money and that the deal was to pay back very soon, and that it is taking an awful lot of time.
You on the other hand speak of no such a time limit and get responses from the rest of the people that you should have read better.


Why be surprised to be fined by me, I'm just one of the admins who try to do their job while also playing the game.


And what about telling Matrim that he was being too serious? I don't recall myself telling you not to troll in that thread or anything, I even helped you with advice on a sale he was running and that you wanted to buy an item.




And another and last thing:
Lately it has become a sport by venting your disagreements with an admin in the forum instead of letting the specific admin know exactly what is on your mind. Next time you feel like I am 'power tripping' or 'doing something wrong' just let me know personally. I won't fine you for a conversation, I never will fine for such a thing if a person explains in a clear, calm and sensible way. Flamey and IndependenZ were very right with their replies to your initial post in this thread, why let the whole public know of your problem with me (or my problem with you as you see it)

Why not ask the person involved what he means, it won't get you into any more trouble than making this thread. It will get you a straight answer without any of this nonsense.

Age and experience means nothing. Usually people bring that up as an excuse or justification of childish behavior. People are NOT like fine wines and it can never be assumed that they get better with age. Some people might improve, but I'm positive that an equal number turn sour and go bad over time.

I'm afraid I missed your delightful post about Ape being "banned" while I was trying to put my life back in place. "Reading comprehension is so cool!"

Also, another thing to note. Not all highly responded posts are brought about by trolling and not all acts of trolling yield a high number of responses. To think the two are synonymous is a mistake. You are not reading the definition clearly enough to understand.

If you think something is wrong, it may indeed be the case that you do not comprehend what is being done and for what reason(s) they are being done for. Therefore, asking an admin to explain again, perhaps in a deferent manner, what it is they have done and why is wise choice of action. Doing such a thing might help you avoid such comments as those initially found in you now-closed post.

in about every part of the real life i allow my the right to contest the authorities. I even use the law to help me. When i decide that i will fight, i will fight until the last point. 6 months ago I sued a laboratory to make pictures because my photos were defective...I used a lawyer for something like 100 dollars of loss lol!!

And currently i am firing against chirac in political forums...

So no shade, i disagree with you when you say that jonathan can not make any error.

I do believe that anybody can make errors, and i do believe that normal players can intervene if they feel so.

And vestax, age and experience are relevant factors in this matter. In many old cultures, the older ones were part of the goverment. In no civilization young people control a country. I agree that past some age, old persons lose their mind, but usually you improve through age.

about matrim too serious, i was referring to it because i feel that the two posts are similar by they appearance: shade does not like ultima spock is polite, and matrim too serious is also polite.

when we are polite i believe we have less chance to troll. so i refered to this previous post because i was as polite in the new post about you as in the post about matrim.

Error? I didn't say Jonathan was a robot or something superhuman, I merely say that if Jonathan fines or bans someone he has his own reasons, and this is his game. Its the same like I would never let anyone into our house without me wanting to.
