What in the world is a Mace of Disruption? (in General)

Gallatin [Thanoscopter And You] June 5 2006 8:15 PM EDT

I saw this term being used in Slayer's post within SNK's contest thread. Is it a CB1 weapon?

July 30th: Mace of Disruption [205x13] +40 was added as the new Supporter Item.

From Slayer's telling of CB history.

a mace of disruption is a mace that undead critters hate?

kevinLeong June 5 2006 8:28 PM EDT

yeah simply put it was a cb1 supporter item. And a darn good one at that too.

What does the mace do?

BlueWolf June 5 2006 10:10 PM EDT

it was a weapon, but seeing as CB1 is gone, i can't look it up.

it didn't do anything but sit there really, it couldn't be forged.

I believe it was the one-handed equivalent to the Glaive of Pain.

Does that help?

Basically, a decent-sized weapon, but not able to be upgraded.

Veterans, help? I have a sinking feeling I am missing something important about the MoD?

AdminShade June 6 2006 12:57 AM EDT

It was a 1 handed weapon, which had the power of around a X45 Claymore (or in Cb2 equivalent) X45 Katana.

It had a fixed damage and to hit modifiers.

I knew the Shade-man would come through... *smile*

Just your luck, I just woke up to go work and saw this thread... had to reply in it ;)

cya! ^_^

Flamey June 6 2006 5:05 AM EDT

also noted it was a great weapon to start off with for early tanks. along with the Glaive of Pain(GoP)

QBJohnnywas June 6 2006 5:39 AM EDT

It was the supporter item when I first signed up for CB.

Wow, two years nearly.....that's a little scary.......

InebriatedArsonist June 6 2006 8:21 AM EDT

Yeah, I received a MoD with my supportership, too. It really was a decent weapon to start with.
